Names with interesting meanings

This thread is inspired by [name_u]Perry[/name_u] (“dweller near a pear tree”) and [name_m]Samir[/name_m] (“a friend to talk with in the evening”). What are your favourite names with meanings that are a little more, well, interesting (for lack of a better word) than e.g ‘strong’ or ‘brave’ or ‘grace’.
