Names with “Kay”

My best friend is due with her first baby in a couple of months. She’s always dreamed of her daughter having the middle name Jean, after her Grandma. Her husband is insisting that the first name have Kay somewhere in it, after his Grandma. He has given the names Kaylin, Kaylee, and Makayla. My best friend doesn’t like any of those, at all.

She’s about to give up her middle name and let the middle name be Kay, so she can have a first name she doesn’t hate. But I can tell her heart is broken over it!

So- I’m looking for first names that have Kay somewhere in it, or suggestions to incorporate Jean and Kay so they can both be happy and have a name they love. Or maybe a first name that incorporates Jean?

Note- her husband has said no to two middle names, and he won’t settle for a name that just starts with K, it has to have “Kay” in there somewhere.

Kaya
Kaycee
Kaylani
Kayda
Kaylene

Maybe they could venture into different spelling of names like Acacia, Acadia, Cadence, Caitlin, etc where she could get Kay as a nickname…? I hope she finds something she likes!

Since Kay is a short form of Katherine, would Katherine or any of its variants work?

Thank you all so much!! I’m copying them all in a big list to send to her. She was supposed to have her baby shower this weekend. Thank you all!!

Kaia in my mind would be the most modern “Kay” name

Kaia Jean or Jeannie Kay would be my suggestion
