Names with Rose

I am looking to honor someone named [name_f]Rose[/name_f]. [name_f]My[/name_f] family disapproves of it as just a first name. [name_f]Do[/name_f] you have any first name suggestions. I like classic names like [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f], [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f], [name_f]Cecily[/name_f], [name_f]Caroline[/name_f], and [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]. Nothing to common. Preferably not on the US top 100. Maybe a name that could have a nickname [name_f]Rose[/name_f]. Perhaps [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]. I don’t like [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f]. Please share opinions and ideas. I love all suggestions.

I love [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]. I’m just going to say that and leave it to the others to suggest ideas. I’d really love to meet a little [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f].

I love [name_f]Rose[/name_f] as she is, but I also really like [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f].
Its a classic middle and would go well with any of the first names you have suggested. [name_f]Cecily[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] would probably get my vote.

Why doesn’t your family approve of just [name_f]Rose[/name_f]? It’s such a beautiful name and way underused (as a first name).
I really like [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] or even just [name_f]Rosie[/name_f].
[name_f]Primrose[/name_f] would be another option.
[name_f]Rosetta[/name_f] / [name_f]Rosella[/name_f] maybe?
I think it’s hard to beat ‘just’ [name_f]Rose[/name_f] though!

I vote for [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] nn [name_f]Rose[/name_f] or [name_f]Rosie[/name_f]. Like opheliaflora said, [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is such a beautiful and underused first name. I think middle name [name_f]Rose[/name_f] can work with almost any first name, but I like it so much better in the first name spot.

I have a soft spot for [name_f]Rosemarie[/name_f], but I never hear it.

Aside from Rose itself, my favourite Rose names are Rosemary and Primrose. There’s also Rosalind, Rosalyn, Rosetta, Briallen (Welsh for Primrose), Roisin (Irish, ‘little rose’), Rosanna/Rosanne, Rosa, Rosie & Zaria (Arabic, ‘rose’).

[name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] is my favorite “[name_f]Rose[/name_f]” name.

Aside from [name_f]Rose[/name_f] itself… which I think is lovely and underused as a first… and [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f]…

I’m fondest of [name_f]Rosalba[/name_f], [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f], and [name_f]Rosemarie[/name_f]. [name_f]Rosalba[/name_f] is by far rarest.

I also like [name_f]Raizel[/name_f], [name_f]Roisin[/name_f], Rhoswen, and [name_f]Shoshana[/name_f], which all mean rose, or in Rhoswen’s case, white rose.

[name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] is growing on me, but I still prefer [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f]. [name_f]Primrose[/name_f] is cute, but I don’t like the idea of it being cut down to “prim.” Rosabel/[name_f]Rosabelle[/name_f] is quirky, but maybe too quirky?

Rosalita is cuter to me than [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f], but I still probably wouldn’t use it.

Rosenwyn is cute but seems somehow surname-ish in rhythm to me. That’s my own damage, I guess.

[name_f]Rose[/name_f] is lovely! Rosabel is my favourite long form of [name_f]Rose[/name_f]. I love [name_f]Rosa[/name_f] as well. Good luck!

[name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] and [name_f]Rosemarie[/name_f] fit best with your list imo, although [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] would fit in pretty well too. The one [name_f]Rose[/name_f] name I haven’t seen suggested yet is [name_f]Rosanna[/name_f] / [name_f]Roseanna[/name_f].

[name_f]Rosalia[/name_f] or [name_f]Rosa[/name_f]

[name_f]My[/name_f] favorite [name_f]Rose[/name_f] name is [name_f]Rose[/name_f]. [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is gorgeous and stunning on it’s own. [name_f]My[/name_f] second choice (in a far distant second) would be [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f].

[name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]! [name_f]Rose[/name_f] on her own is beautiful! I also love her in the middle spot with [name_f]Caroline[/name_f]: [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] or [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Caroline[/name_f]

Has anyone suggested Roseline yet? I believe she was a [name_m]French[/name_m] Catholic saint. I’ve liked the name for a while, and especially in the growing popularity of [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f], I think it would fit in well.

Roseline
[name_f]Rosalind[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosalina[/name_f]
Raisie
[name_f]Rosemary[/name_f]

[name_f]Rosaline[/name_f] is correct spelling of Roseline, You can spell it [name_f]Roslyn[/name_f], also.

[name_f]Rosaline[/name_f], [name_f]Rosetta[/name_f], [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f], and [name_f]Primrose[/name_f] are all lovely names that can have [name_f]Rose[/name_f] as a nn

I love [name_f]Rose[/name_f] on its own, but if you cannot use it, I love the suggestions of [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f], [name_f]Rosaline[/name_f], [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f], and [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f].

The only [name_f]Rose[/name_f] names I can think if are; [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f], [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f], [name_f]Rosaline[/name_f], [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] and [name_f]Rosamond[/name_f].
