Hello!
I need names to a set of sisters. They’re witches and are in their twenties. I am calling them [name_f]Ursula[/name_f] and [name_f]Morgana[/name_f] for now. What do you guys think? Does it sound witchy enough? I’m open to suggestions.
Hello!

I think they’re great!
[name_m]Hi[/name_m], would love to know more about them. I like very different and unique names. To me they have been used and people will maybe associate them with [name_f]Ursula[/name_f] ([name_m]Little[/name_m] Mermaid) and [name_f]Morgana[/name_f] ([name_m]Merlin[/name_m])
I would love to help

Though I do enjoy the names, I’d hesitate over the fact that major magical connotations already exist, as @meleast7 mentioned.
I like them! Wouldn’t have thought of the magical connotations of my own ([name_m]Merlin[/name_m]'s [name_f]Morgana[/name_f] is called [name_u]Morgan[/name_u] in my mind, which sounds quite different to me).
Maybe Regula instead of [name_f]Ursula[/name_f]?
Oh, I thought you chose those names specifically because of the well-known associations, but looking back on it I probably shouldn’t have assumed that.
If you don’t want immediate connotations I wouldn’t suggest [name_f]Ursula[/name_f], but if you do it’s a great choice. I immediately think of the sea witch. I’m not as sure about [name_f]Morgana[/name_f]. I was not a fan of [name_m]Merlin[/name_m] (ducks to avoid the various heavy objects being thrown in my direction) and it isn’t AS strong an association for me although it did come to mind when I read your post. I agree with @wandarine that I always think [name_u]Morgan[/name_u] instead of [name_f]Morgana[/name_f].
[name_f]Hebe[/name_f]
Hecate
[name_f]Circe[/name_f]
[name_f]Faye[/name_f]
[name_f]Saoirse[/name_f]
Deianeira
[name_f]Urse[/name_f]
Megara
[name_f]Freya[/name_f]/[name_f]Freja[/name_f]/Freyja
[name_f]Danae[/name_f]
[name_f]Eurydice[/name_f]
[name_f]Hester[/name_f]/[name_f]Hestia[/name_f]
Repeated point, but the association of [name_f]Ursula[/name_f] may be a problem. If you’re attached to it, consider some alternatives:
[name_f]Orsola[/name_f]/[name_f]Orsala[/name_f]
[name_f]Sula[/name_f]
[name_f]Ursa[/name_f]/[name_f]Urse[/name_f]
[name_f]Ursule[/name_f]
Other witchy options:
Good luck!
I love [name_f]Morgana[/name_f] but [name_f]Ursula[/name_f] is a bit too “sea witch” for me. The two that come to mind are [name_f]Drusilla[/name_f] and [name_f]Rhiannon[/name_f].
