What did you guys like when you were younger?

The ones that I can remember (from around the age 10):

Lilybelle (was my favourite for a while!)
[name]Jayne[/name] (only spelled this way, I thought the ‘y’ made it prettier)
[name]Gypsie[/name] (again only spelled this way)
[name]Summer[/name]
Alaska
[name]Marguerite[/name]
[name]Jasmine[/name]
[name]Bridie[/name]
[name]Hazel[/name]
[name]Ruby[/name]

I loved names that I thought were as pretty as possible! I still find most of them pretty now but would only use a few. I didn’t want any boys so I never thought about boys names!

[name]Calico[/name], Honeyblossom, Cobweb, [name]Gypsy[/name], [name]Davis[/name] (on a girl), and [name]Lilibet[/name]. I named all my dolls these.

My [name]Ken[/name] dolls were all named [name]Milo[/name].

When I was little I was into mythological names. My favorites were [name]Artemis[/name] and [name]Apollo[/name]. I wanted twins with those names. I had it all planned out, lol. Their brother was going to be Ares. Also, I loved the name [name]Elliot[/name]. It turns out that [name]Elliot[/name] is my name steady. I fell in love with it years ago and have never been able to break its hold on me. Also, I went through a phase where I didn’t think my given name of [name]Angela[/name] was exotic enough and wanted to call myself [name]Gabrielle[/name].

That’s all I can think of right now at… 2 in the morning.

Well, depends on how little is little. I actually used my dream name from when I was 12yo for my 1st DD- Still love it.
Anyway, prior to that… always loved [name]Elizabeth[/name] from my under 10 years.
I liked making up names in my teens (luckily that phase went): Raemee and [name]Aminda[/name].
I did rather fancy [name]Estelle[/name] and [name]Elisha[/name], kind of still do.
[name]Bernadette[/name]… in my late teens I loved that name. NMS at all now.
Interestingly though, my list from when I had DD#2 is nearly identical to now. So my tastes haven’t changed much.

emiliaj

[name]Evangeline[/name] & [name]Rebecca[/name] are two I remember. I liked them just cause.
I liked [name]Alexandra[/name], [name]Ariel[/name], [name]Melody[/name], [name]Eric[/name] because of people/characters.

[name]Bridget[/name]
[name]Sophie[/name]
Kesleigh
[name]Elisha[/name] nn [name]Ellie[/name]
[name]Callie[/name]
[name]Tacey[/name]
[name]Tessa[/name]
[name]Tabitha[/name]
[name]Lucy[/name]

Those are the ones I can remember. Kind of an eclectic mix. Most of these were my dolls’ names at one point or another. I still like a few of them, but would never use them on a child due to popularity ([name]Sophie[/name], [name]Ellie[/name]).

It seems like everybody else has always been interested in names, but I guess that wasn’t the case for me. When I was little, I wanted to be named [name]Kiki[/name] with a passion. For years, until I moved onto [name]Dee[/name]-[name]Dee[/name]. Not kidding, that was it. And the only reason I wanted to be named [name]Dee[/name]-[name]Dee[/name] was because it was my favorite character from [name]Dexter[/name]'s Laboratory. You wouldn’t have known that I would go on to be obsessed with names at all

I used to love popular names like [name]Madison[/name], [name]Natasha[/name], [name]Emily[/name], etc. But I also loved inventing names. I wrote stories all the time and loved just randomly inventing characters named Niana, Kyora, Nahlina, Maturi, etc. A little out there, but in my head I always thought they sounded African and of course I was obsessed with the [name]Lion[/name] [name]King[/name]! lol

My favorite name when I was little was [name]Rebecca[/name]. I just loved the way it trips off the tongue.

My first name love was [name]Martha[/name] for a girl when I was very little. Back in high school I really loved [name]Emma[/name], [name]Claire[/name] and [name]Luke[/name].

when I was 7 my best friend and I played a game where we named our future children. I don’t know how I came up with my choices, but I loved them! First of all, I wanted six kids. To be named the following:

[name]Matthew[/name] [name]Garrett[/name]
[name]Gretchen[/name] [name]Lee[/name]
[name]Elliott[/name] [name]Demetri[/name]
Twins: [name]Bella[/name] [name]Camryn[/name] & [name]Naomi[/name] [name]Dakota[/name]
[name]Cole[/name] [name]Robert[/name]
I love [name]Elliott[/name] & like [name]Cole[/name] and [name]Bella[/name] a lot. [name]Matthew[/name] and [name]Robert[/name] are nice. [name]Gretchen[/name] & [name]Naomi[/name] are okay. [name]Garrett[/name], [name]Lee[/name], [name]Camryn[/name], & [name]Dakota[/name] I hate.

forgot [name]Demetri[/name]. [name]Do[/name] NOT know how I came up with that one. Nuetral about it I guess.

As shameful as it is to say at one point I did like the name [name]Nevaeh[/name], but as I got older I realized that it was just tacky. I also liked Deianira because when I was younger I was obsessed with the TV Shows [name]Hercules[/name]: The Legendary Journeys and [name]Xena[/name]: Warrior [name]Princess[/name] as well as anything Greek mythology related. But there are at least 3 names from both those shows that are in my top 10 list still. Because they sound pretty and I personally don’t think they are that obscure.

[name]Sonya[/name], [name]Tabitha[/name], [name]Beatrice[/name] and [name]Imogen[/name]. I always wanted to change my name to [name]Imogen[/name], I loved it so much.

I didn’t have any boys names though.

I adored [name]Jessica[/name] when I was little, and named my first doll that. I always wanted to be named [name]Amy[/name]! (I still do) Other than those two, I liked:

[name]Cecily[/name] (this was the name of a girl at school and I thought it was SO cool!)
[name]Star[/name] (I was six)
[name]Madison[/name]
[name]Alexandra[/name]
[name]Lindsey[/name]

I loved [name]Ella[/name], [name]Clara[/name], [name]Rachel[/name] and [name]Juliette[/name] and I still do. I also adored the name [name]Becca[/name] because of the fairy in the Tinkerbell books.

For girls I used to love
[name]Victoria[/name]
[name]Jessica[/name]
[name]Rebecca[/name]
[name]Darcy[/name]
[name]Summer[/name]
[name]Maddison[/name]

And for boys I used to love [name]Jacob[/name] and [name]Gabriel[/name]

My first favorite name was [name]Star[/name]. I was about four years old.
When I was five, I fell in love with the name [name]Darlene[/name].
A bit later, I loved the name [name]Christina[/name].
My favorite names for boys were [name]Michael[/name], [name]Richard[/name] and [name]Mark[/name].
I still love the name [name]Michael[/name], and I’ll always have a warm place in my heart for [name]Star[/name].

[name]Rebecca[/name] [name]Grace[/name]
[name]Roman[/name] [name]Charles[/name]
[name]Jessica[/name] [name]Anne[/name]
[name]Rachel[/name]
[name]Reuben[/name]
[name]Ruth[/name]
[name]Heidi[/name]
[name]Gisele[/name]
[name]Genevieve[/name]
[name]Sage[/name]
[name]Sterling[/name]
Saralyn (yeah…not proud of this one)
[name]Ashlyn[/name]
[name]Michaela[/name]
