[name_f]My[/name_f] dh has a bunch of siblings w/a bunch of kids who mostly used beautiful Irish names for my little nephews. I especially love:
[name_m]Ciaran[/name_m] (he’s actually [name_u]Kieran[/name_u]), [name_m]Eamon[/name_m] & [name_m]Seamus[/name_m]. Obviously, all off limits because we live in the same town & see them often.
Then I have a little step-nephew called [name_m]Patrick[/name_m]. I love the name [name_m]Patrick[/name_m], & especially the nn Patch. But I couldn’t use it because the sweet little nephew is already [name_m]Patrick[/name_m]. And I especially couldn’t use it because dh has a not so awesome guy uncle called [name_m]Patrick[/name_m] too.
[name_u]Charlie[/name_u]-dh has a handful of unpleasant relatives (big family), & unfortunately [name_u]Charlie[/name_u] is one of them.
[name_u]Nolan[/name_u]-dh just hates it. But who knows if there were a real baby, perhaps I could change his mind.
[name_f]Lilia[/name_f]-my mom named her cat this about 13 years ago. I’m not too sore about it. She’s a very beautiful [name_f]Lilia[/name_f]/Lili.
[name_f]Felicity[/name_f]-dh hates this one too. [name_f]May[/name_f] be harder to convince, since he said it sounded like a porn star name?!?
[name_f]Josephine[/name_f]-I feel like it’d be hard to avoid [name_u]Josie[/name_u]. And I’m actually starting to come around to [name_u]Josie[/name_u], even though I love just [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] way more. I just think it’s awkward, because sometimes it’s ‘[name_m]Joe[/name_m]-zee’ & sometimes it’s ‘[name_m]Joe[/name_m]-see’. It bugs me!
[name_f]Miriam[/name_f]-our ln starts w/an ‘M’ & has some ‘r’ sound, & it just doesn’t flow at all.
I think that’s it.
