I love the name [name_m]Jared[/name_m], but I can’t use it, because, in my family, [name_m]Jared[/name_m] is our code word for diarrhea.
Here’s the story:
One day, we went to a restaurant together, and Dad had to use the bathroom. He was taking a long time, and Mom and I were confused. Meanwhile, at the bathroom, an old man walked up to the door, knocking on it and asking “Jared, [name_m]Jared[/name_m], are you in there, Jared”? And then [name_m]Jared[/name_m] answered with “Grandpa, I think I have diarrhea”!
[name_u]Ever[/name_u] since that moment, the name [name_m]Jared[/name_m] has become permanently associated with diarrhea.
[name_u]Romilly[/name_u]
It sounds horrible with my last name.
[name_f]Ophelia[/name_f]
I feel this name is too tragic for an actual child, especially because we have some mental health conditions in the family.
[name_f]Penelope[/name_f]
I would hurt the feelings of a loved family member if I’d choose this name for a daughter.
[name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]
Already taken.
[name_u]Levi[/name_u]
Too similar to my own name.
