The title says it all! For pure curiosity’s sake…what are some names you love and have never seen used on somebody? You can decided if this is restricted to people you’ve met, or if you want to apply it to a larger world…like news stories, or actors, etc.
Oh… there are several for me!
Maxon - This is what my husband and I will name our child if we have a boy. I first saw it as a surname, and fell in love with it instantly! I have since learned that [name]Maxen[/name] (or Macsen) is a legitimate first name…but I have never met or heard of anyone with this name.
[name]Felix[/name] - Although we all know the name from “[name]Felix[/name] the [name]Cat[/name]”, I’ve never actually met anyone with the name. I think it’s adorable.
[name]Norah[/name] - Another great name! This name is popular throughout Hollywood, but I’ve never known a [name]Norah[/name]!
[name]Everly[/name] - This is such a beautiful girls name - I’ve never actually met anyone that has used it!
Banneker-after [name]Benjamin[/name] Banneker a African American astronomer, mathematician, clock maker. One of my personal inspirations and I love the surnamey quality of it.
For a girl, my mothers name, Madriene. If I have a little girl, this is my first and real only choice.
[name]Persephone[/name]! I would love to meet a [name]Persephone[/name], I’m really curious what her personality would be like. I’ve never seen it even in the media, and this name is a huge favorite of mine.

Wouldn’t use this myself, but I really like it’s astronomical and mythological references. Makes me think of someone intellectual but a bit of a loner, the free thinker that maybe the rest of the world can’t quite “get.” I would love to know this person but would not wish this life upon my son - if he chooses it though, sobeit!
