[name_f]Delta[/name_f] most definitely - I really love it but unfortunately its too attached to the [name_f]Delta[/name_f] variant now :frowning:

Definitely [name_f]Delta[/name_f], [name_u]Cove[/name_u], and Cova. Hopefully over time the association will fade.

I also know someone who was thinking about naming their daughter [name_f]Iris[/name_f] but when they mentioned it to their daughter she misheard and said “why would you name the baby Virus?!” Once you hear it you can’t unhear it.

I didn’t even think about Cove/COVID! I do still more think of an actual cove, and mostly like it as a middle anyway, but it is a shame.

Nothing really. [name_f]Corona[/name_f] was already a beer for me and already ruined :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:. [name_f]Delta[/name_f] has way too many other associations.

Ok I take it back Fauci is definitely out forever.

Thankfully, no names have really been ruined by covid for me. Rest assured that plenty of other things have though. :crazy_face:

I was thinking along the lines of the governor, [name_f]Gretchen[/name_f] Whitmer, who was in the news a lot for her “over the top” restrictions

She’s the governor for Michigan which isn’t even near my area and Incame across her in the headlines often which even included her being talked about on various shows like the View. This was a year ago during the lockdown part for the USA I’m referring to- not now. She likely wasn’t in the headlines to the same extent as say [name_m]Andrew[/name_m] Cuomo…. But I don’t really see the name [name_m]Andrew[/name_m] (or other such familiar sounding names) Being ruined by COVID but I could be wrong.

[name_m]Just[/name_m] brainstorming here since Inthink all the obvious have already been mentioned
