Names you used to like when you started nameberry and still like now

Here are some names I liked pre-nameberry & when I first joined nameberry, that I still like now(Dec 2021, account 1)

-Sakura. Still love the feel of this one, I wrote a story including it and she was the ‘mean girl’ but it never gives me negative connotations because I think [name_f]Sakura[/name_f] had a good character arc + development in my story

-Ophelia. This is honestly one I have always loved. When I first joined nameberry O’Felia & [name_f]Ofelia[/name_f] were my favourite spellings but now I am really not a fan of O’Felia, and I am indifferent about [name_f]Ofelia[/name_f].

-Astoria. [name_u]Love[/name_u] the nicknames for this one! [name_u]Story[/name_u] is so so cute!!

i still love amadea + seraphina. amadea was from before i joined. they’re both still ones i love. still maybe top 5 names.

oh gosh, my names that i like have changed sooooooo much from when i was younger > when i started writing stories > when i started lurking other name sights > when i started lurking nb > when i made an account > now! my tastes change so often, it’s not ok :joy:

but i still like eliza, vivienne, gwendolyn, charlotte, evangeline, estelle, michael, soren, rhodes, bennett… these names are from a list i made in like 6th grade. i don’t love them as much as i did, except eliza and bennett… oh wait :joy:

I liked and still like [name_f]Sarai[/name_f], [name_f]Anya[/name_f], [name_f]Nadia[/name_f], [name_u]Florence[/name_u], [name_f]Clementine[/name_f], [name_f]Tallulah[/name_f], [name_u]Jasper[/name_u] and [name_m]Felix[/name_m]

I used to love [name_f]Topaz[/name_f] and [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] before! I remember making a whole list of it. I still like [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f], albeit minimally.

• [name_u]Rose[/name_u] is my biggest one; loved it since the age of 4 & love it now!
• [name_f]Katharine[/name_f] & [name_f]Anna[/name_f] - if anything I love these gals even more, I used to worry they were a bit ‘boring’ but nb has helped me appreciate their classic charm!
• [name_u]James[/name_u] - another lifelong favourite!

I started nameberry (browsing names) a few weeks ago, however I starded reading forums a few days ago.

[name_f]Unice[/name_f] has been my name crush for months so this counts, along with [name_f]Aerith[/name_f] for her middle. [name_f]Sarah[/name_f] has also been a fave for years

Nameberry made me love [name_f]Astoria[/name_f].

I’ve been on NB since 2015-ish (and played around on the site beforehand).

[name_m]Bram[/name_m] (though I used to think that I would do [name_m]Abram[/name_m] called Bram) and [name_f]Dorothy[/name_f] are the main loooong lasting names

Some like [name_m]Grover[/name_m] and [name_f]Elsbeth[/name_f] used to be on my radar but have moved from GP-ish (Grover as a family name that reminded me too much of [name_f]Sesame[/name_f] [name_f]Street[/name_f] and [name_f]Elsbeth[/name_f] as a character I liked) to my shortlist/at least a strong contender

Others have moved from some of my top names to names that I just like or would use as a middle name - like [name_u]Florence[/name_u] and [name_m]Felix[/name_m] (funnily enough they’re the most stereotypical [name_u]Berry[/name_u] names of this roundup)

not as much as I thought, tbh!

~ [name_f]Lillian[/name_f] / [name_f]Lillie[/name_f]
~ [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] (preferred the nickname [name_f]Ella[/name_f], now I love [name_f]Betsy[/name_f] / Bess)
~ [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] (not as high ranking!)
~ [name_f]Margot[/name_f]

Hmm… This is tough, my style has changed way too much, but

[name_f]Eva[/name_f]
[name_f]Viorica[/name_f]
[name_m]Aleksandr[/name_m] / [name_m]Alexandros[/name_m] / [name_m]Alexandre[/name_m] and variants
[name_m]Valentin[/name_m] (before I just liked him a bit, now I like him a lot)
[name_f]Mabel[/name_f] (before I just liked her a bit, now I like her much more)
