The only one I really don’t like is [name]Aubree[/name] Brienne. The others are a much nicer mix of modern and traditional, and seem like they would age better. I’m not sure how to pronounce [name]Eilidh[/name], though. Is there an Anglicized spelling you could use?
While I like [name]Eilidh[/name] [name]Claire[/name] and [name]Eilidh[/name] Brienne, the spelling would definitely cause problems. It’s a lovely name and spelling, but it just doesn’t work today. My next choice is [name]Amelie[/name] [name]Claire[/name]. So stylish!
[name]Amelie[/name] [name]Claire[/name] gets my vote. The others aren’t my taste and I feel that [name]Aubree[/name] Brienne is a bad idea with the -[name]Bree[/name] [name]Bri[/name]- sounds
I love [name]Amelie[/name] [name]Claire[/name]… But I’m worried about people not pronouncing it correctly for the child’s entire life!! I say it [name]AH[/name]-meh-lee…
I like [name]Eilidh[/name] [name]Claire[/name] the best. [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Eilidh[/name], and I think [name]Eilidh[/name] [name]Claire[/name] is so sweet and striking. I really love [name]Claire[/name] and [name]Lily[/name] as FNs, too, but I’m not a huge fan of the names you have them paired up with.
That was so hard!! I love [name]Eilidh[/name] [name]Claire[/name] and [name]Amelie[/name] [name]Claire[/name]! I eventually voted for [name]Amelie[/name] [name]Claire[/name] but I really wanted to vote for [name]Eilidh[/name] [name]Claire[/name] though too!
I voted [name]Eilidh[/name] [name]Claire[/name] mainly b/c just so excited to see someone else w/ the name choice [name]Eilidh[/name]! It’s one of our top contendors. Loooove the name [name]Eilidh[/name]. Beautiful Scottish name. I do also really like Brienne [name]Lilly[/name]
[name]Do[/name] I need to stick to the names in your other options? Like [name]Mae[/name], Brienne, [name]Amelie[/name], [name]Eilidh[/name], [name]Lily[/name], etc.? If so, then I would say I like [name]Claire[/name] [name]Eilidh[/name] best, followed by [name]Claire[/name] [name]Amelie[/name]. If not, I like:
I like [name]Eilidh[/name] [name]Claire[/name] and [name]Amelie[/name] [name]Claire[/name] the best, even though I don’t really like [name]Claire[/name], I find it really rather dated but prefer it in the middle than as a first. [name]Bri[/name]/[name]Bre[/name] names grate on me something awful so I don’t like Brienne and [name]Aubree[/name], and [name]Eilidh[/name] [name]Mae[/name] is a bit sing song rhymey. [name]Cali[/name]/[name]Caleigh[/name] I am assuming are varient spellings of [name]Callie[/name], which I like but only in the [name]Callie[/name] spelling, as [name]Caleigh[/name] looks like trendy spelling of [name]Kayleigh[/name] to me.
I voted for Brienne [name]Lilly[/name]. I’ve never heard Brienne before, but I think it’s really cute. [name]Eilidh[/name] [name]Claire[/name] and [name]Amelie[/name] [name]Claire[/name] are also sweet.
[name]Do[/name] you have Gaelic/Irish ancestry? If so, I adore [name]Eilidh[/name]. ([name]Eilidh[/name] [name]Claire[/name] specifically). If you don’t though, you might want to consider an alternate/anglicized spelling, since people would undoubtedly ask you why you chose to spell it that way. “We’re Irish, and that’s the traditional spelling,” is an easy answer to that question, if it’s true.
My husband’s cousin has a daughter they named Aileigh. Normally I’m not a huge fan of alternate spellings, but if you don’t have the heritage to match, I think it’s appropriate. And I love little Aileigh’s name.
