I am 20w pg with a boy.
I have two girls, [name_f]Vivi[/name_f]@n [name_f]Lucia[/name_f] and my 2012 addition [name_f]Ros[/name_f]@lind [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] (@=a), as well as a deceased male twin of [name_f]Vivi[/name_f]@n’s- E11iot Downing (died early on of SIDS).
The boy names were especially difficult with my deceased son and we ultimately decided on his name about a week before the twins were born. It was literally the only name we could agree on.
Now we’re back at square one with boy names. Our last name is English/Scottish and sounds like “Arr-when” so any names that end with R are out ([name_m]Oliver[/name_m], etc).
DH is picky and likes more unusual names like [name_m]Atticus[/name_m] (which I am trying to like, but it’s NMS at the moment). He also doesn’t like names that sound like last names.
I like more traditional names like [name_m]William[/name_m] (which he dislikes because of negative nickname issues). I’m not a fan of unisex names.
My tentative list is
[name_m]Alfred[/name_m]
[name_m]Gideon[/name_m]
[name_m]Adrian[/name_m]
[name_m]Bayard[/name_m]
[name_m]Charles[/name_m]
[name_m]Edward[/name_m]/ possible nn “[name_m]Ned[/name_m]”
[name_m]Edmund[/name_m]
[name_m]Henry[/name_m]
[name_m]William[/name_m] (DH doesn’t really like this one)
[name_m]Clayton[/name_m]
[name_m]Harrison[/name_m] (DH does not like this one)
[name_m]Lorenzo[/name_m]/ nn “[name_m]Enzo[/name_m]” (love the nickname, can’t tell if it’s too Italian for our last name though)
[name_m]Julian[/name_m] (can’t decide if it sounds too girly or not)
[name_u]Cameron[/name_u]
