[name_m]Hi[/name_m] berries, If I have a daughter I’d really like to name her in honor of my grandmother, [name_f]Zippora[/name_f] (which means bird in Hebrew). In Russian, she went by Fenia. Here are the names I’ve come up with so far:
I like [name_f]Zora[/name_f]. I think the nn [name_f]Zoey[/name_f] is cute- plus, the name [name_f]Zippora[/name_f] HAS [name_f]Zora[/name_f] amongst the letters.
I also am a fan of the name [name_u]Zola[/name_u], like the little girl on [name_u]Grey[/name_u]'s Anatomy. :]
[name_f]Do[/name_f] you know [name_f]Zora[/name_f], spelled [name_f]Zora[/name_f], means dawn in Croatian and Serbian?
I vote for [name_f]Merel[/name_f] (it’s was on my list, it’s beautiful), [name_f]Aya[/name_f] and [name_f]Zora[/name_f]. I like [name_f]Flora[/name_f] and [name_f]Faye[/name_f].
Are you not allowed to use [name_f]Zippora[/name_f] or Fenia to honour your grandmother? Or maybe you just don’t like the names themselves? I like [name_f]Faye[/name_f] and [name_f]Flora[/name_f] from your list.
[name_f]Zora[/name_f] is a cute way to pass down the sentiment but I also like [name_f]Merel[/name_f]. [name_f]Merel[/name_f] [name_f]Zora[/name_f] is my favourite combination! It is divine. X
