[name_m]Hi[/name_m] everyone! This is my first post ever and it’s for a good reason! I am 6 months pregnant with all girl quadruplets. My husband and I are completely overwhelmed because naming our first two was super easy, [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Joelle[/name_f] and [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Grayce[/name_f]. But we can’t find names we both love for the quads. Names we have talked about and like are
The “*” means we love these names
Possible middle names are [name_f]Jane[/name_f], [name_f]Kate[/name_f], [name_f]Ruth[/name_f], [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], and [name_f]Caroline[/name_f]. Our last name starts w M and is 3 syllables.
Thank you everyone!
I think all your favourites can work here. [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] and [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] are just as popular as [name_u]Harper[/name_u], [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] and [name_f]Isla[/name_f] at the moment, so they will all sound lovely together. [name_u]Brooklyn[/name_u] may not be as popular, but I love how well it flows with [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] and [name_f]Audrey[/name_f].
You have a great list, but the ones marked as your favorites ([name_u]Brooklyn[/name_u], [name_u]Harper[/name_u]) are much trendier than [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] and [name_f]Audrey[/name_f]. Not necessarily a dealbreaker, but of the more classic names on your list I think [name_f]Maeve[/name_f], [name_f]Claire[/name_f], [name_f]Isla[/name_f] and [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] are lovely together and with the other girls’ names. I also like [name_f]Iris[/name_f], but both [name_f]Isla[/name_f] and [name_f]Iris[/name_f] would probably be too similar. I also think [name_u]Rowan[/name_u], [name_u]Sage[/name_u], [name_f]Maia[/name_f] and [name_u]Harper[/name_u] make a complementary set.
Wow! Congratulations! I bet your husband is starting to feel a little outnumbered
I love [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] and [name_f]Audrey[/name_f]! I think [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] fits in beautifully with the older girls. I would suggest [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] or [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] for her middle name.
[name_u]Brooklyn[/name_u] and [name_u]Harper[/name_u] (as others have said) don’t seem to fit as well with the older girls’ names, but that’s only relevant if it matters to you.
[name_f]Harlow[/name_f] might be a name you like; it feels more classic like the other girls’ names but is still really recognizable and trendy like [name_u]Harper[/name_u].
Suggestions along the lines of [name_f]Maeve[/name_f], [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] and [name_f]Audrey[/name_f]:
[name_f]Eliza[/name_f]
[name_f]Matilda[/name_f] ([name_f]Tillie[/name_f])
[name_f]Delilah[/name_f]
[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] ([name_f]Nora[/name_f])
[name_f]Phoebe[/name_f]
[name_u]Eden[/name_u] ([name_f]Edie[/name_f])
[name_f]Pearl[/name_f]
[name_f]Emilia[/name_f]
[name_f]Freya[/name_f]
[name_f]Vivienne[/name_f]
[name_f]Willa[/name_f]
[name_f]Hazel[/name_f]
[name_f]Adeline[/name_f]
[name_f]Violet[/name_f]
[name_f]Penelope[/name_f]
[name_f]Louisa[/name_f]
[name_f]Clara[/name_f]
[name_u]Eloise[/name_u]
Suggestions more like [name_u]Harper[/name_u] and [name_u]Brooklyn[/name_u]:
[name_f]Savannah[/name_f]
[name_u]Hadley[/name_u]
[name_u]Reese[/name_u]
[name_f]Sienna[/name_f]
[name_f]Summer[/name_f]
[name_u]Jordan[/name_u]
[name_u]Leighton[/name_u]
[name_u]Sawyer[/name_u]
[name_u]Holland[/name_u]
[name_u]Regan[/name_u]
[name_u]Tatum[/name_u]
I also like [name_f]Isla[/name_f], [name_u]Rowan[/name_u], [name_f]Claire[/name_f] and [name_f]Anna[/name_f] from your list. [name_f]Do[/name_f] you like any of these suggestions? Good luck naming these sweet little babies!
I eliminated choices that felt too masculine or trendy. [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] and [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] are feminine, versatile, and timeless, and I think that their sisters’ names should meet those criteria as well. I was hesitant to include [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] in the shortlist; it’s much more vibrant and modern (to the American ear) than the other choices, but it could definitely work. Also, if it matters to you, [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] and [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] are essentially the same name.
Congratulations! I can’t believe you’re having four girls, that’s amazing! Are your first two girls twins?
Your other two girls’ names are so beautiful. I love how the middle names really add a creative spin to the classic first names =]
Here are some names that I would love to see paired with [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Joelle[/name_f] and [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Grayce[/name_f].
I think they sound great with the other two names!
[name_f]EDIT[/name_f]: I just realized that [name_f]Scarlette[/name_f] and [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] are nearly identical in sound, ugh. Maybe just flip all Scarlettes to the middle spot =]
Thank you! We both immediately feel in love with [name_f]Paige[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] and [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] [name_f]Adalie[/name_f] so they have been added to the potential names:) On a different note [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] and [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] are not twins, I work in the NICU and both mothers of the girls gave them up for adoption so DH and I adopted them!
First of all big congrats on your girls. [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Joelle[/name_f] and [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Grayce[/name_f] are wonderful names and what a beautiful story.
Here are some names, both traditional and trendy, hopefully you like some of them. I think that these would make really good sisters to [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] and [name_f]Audrey[/name_f].
You like R’s in the middle of your names!! Why not include [name_u]Brooklyn[/name_u], [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] and [name_u]Harper[/name_u] if you love those names? they flow nicely with your other children.
