We are expecting baby #4 at the end of [name_u]August[/name_u]. I was so sure this baby was a girl, but we just found out that it’s a BOY! I had a very strong list of girl names but my boy list is lacking. Siblings are [name_m]Bradford[/name_m] (goes by [name_m]Bud[/name_m]), [name_m]Henry[/name_m] and [name_u]Eloise[/name_u]. Middle name will most likely be [name_m]John[/name_m]. Names on our boy list are [name_m]George[/name_m], [name_m]Frederick[/name_m], [name_m]Solomon[/name_m], [name_u]Asa[/name_u], and [name_m]John[/name_m] (as first name instead of middle). Last name rhymes with max. We obviously like older names but not super common names. Any thoughts or other suggestions?? [name_f]TIA[/name_f]!
I love love love [name_u]Asa[/name_u]. [name_m]George[/name_m] fits well too but [name_u]Asa[/name_u] is gorgeous
[name_m]Frederick[/name_m]! It’s classic like [name_m]Henry[/name_m] but more unusual like [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] and [name_m]Bradford[/name_m]. It also has the cute nickname [name_u]Freddie[/name_u] and [name_m]John[/name_m] sounds good next to it.

[name_m]Frederick[/name_m] is perfect with older siblings [name_m]Bradford[/name_m], [name_m]Henry[/name_m], and [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] and next to middle name [name_m]John[/name_m]. FWIW, I also love [name_m]George[/name_m] for your family, but not with mn [name_m]John[/name_m].
I like [name_m]Frederick[/name_m] best with the siblings and as a name on its own.

I don’t love the sound of the [name_m]George[/name_m] [name_m]John[/name_m] together but I always figure that you rarely go by your first and middle name anyway. My grandpa was [name_m]John[/name_m] [name_m]George[/name_m] actually. I’d like to honor him and my dad by using [name_m]John[/name_m] as a middle name. It’s just coincidence that we like [name_m]George[/name_m]. My grandpa hated his middle name. Lol
Thank you!! When I was expecting my first, I hated the nickname [name_m]Bud[/name_m] but I love it now! He’s [name_m]Bradford[/name_m] IV and his great grandfather (the first [name_m]Bradford[/name_m]) went by [name_m]Bud[/name_m]. My FIL goes by [name_m]Brad[/name_m] and my husband goes by [name_m]Bill[/name_m] (middle name is [name_m]William[/name_m]), so we started the tradition over again.
In that case it seems that [name_m]George[/name_m] might be a perfect name!
