My husband and I just found out we are expecting baby girl #2! I fell in love with the name [name_m]Lawson[/name_m]… for a boy. However my husband prefers it for a girl. Now that we know we’re having a girl, is [name_m]Lawson[/name_m] too boyish of a name? I’d be happy to use the name at all- I just don’t want our little girl to face a world of teasing for the name [name_m]Lawson[/name_m].
I like [name_m]Lawson[/name_m] too, but I always pictured it for a boy.
Other suggestions:
[name_u]Laurie[/name_u]/ [name_f]Lori[/name_f]
[name_u]Laurence[/name_u]
[name_u]Peyton[/name_u]
[name_u]Carmen[/name_u]
[name_f]Lorelei[/name_f]
[name_f]Lauren[/name_f]
I have never heard [name_m]Lawson[/name_m] used as a first name, only a last name. I think it could be for a girl or boy, in my opinion. Much like other last names used as first names, such as [name_u]Carson[/name_u], [name_m]Bennett[/name_m], or [name_u]Avery[/name_u]! I say if you like it, go for it!
I love it for a boy!! But I don’t like it at all for a girl. Sorry.
I think [name_m]Lawson[/name_m] is all boy, sorry. Maybe it could be used as a middle?
It’s hard for me to imagine [name_m]Lawson[/name_m] as a girl’s name, even with a feminine middle name. I like the suggestion of using it as a middle name instead
i can so see it on a girl, so spunky and totally adorable! if you love it, go for it!
I don’t like it for a girl, but she wouldn’t be made fun of. Lots of girls have boys names today
