Naming challenge!

I am currently midway through a novel, and seem to have hit a brick wall when it comes to character naming.

My book is a futuristic fantasy/sci-fi novel, set in a post-apocalyptic universe. The main protagonist’s name is Genevra, and she lives in a poor village controlled by magic-using dictators. I am struggling to come up with a name for the mother of her best friend, Galen.

The character’s surname is Forster. Ideally, her name would be no more than three syllables. I tend to prefer the more obscure and unusual names, but to give you a better idea, here are the names of some other characters from the same village: Adair, Hilda, Bayne, Mack, Mara, Fane, Briannon, and Wyclef.

I also really like Old English names.

Please let me know if you have any suggestions. (None from within the US top 1000, please!)

Also, since you like Old English names, you could take some of the (less common?) names and change the spelling to get ones that would appear more futuristic / sci-fi.
