So I have a character in my story, she is strong willed, brave, skilled with a sword. She is pretty much like a warrior princess, but in her mid thirties. Anyways, I’ve been looking for a name for her and the only one that has seemed to stick is [name_f]Hestia[/name_f]. The problem is, I want no connection to the Greek goddess, so it is therefore unusable. I can’t seem to find anything else that I like, so I again ask for naming help. Something kind of edgy and unique. Thanks for the help!!

I think [name_f]Hilda[/name_f] (“battle woman”) or [name_f]Hadassah[/name_f] (“star”) could work for you.
I also second @otter.on.ice 's suggestion of [name_f]Helena[/name_f].
Could names that don’t begin with H work for you? If so…
