Hey, so our daughters name will be [name_u]Marley[/name_u]. That has been decided and not backing out of it. We love it and chose it for personal reasons. Although I have trouble with the letter R sometimes and happen to prn it more like the Irish Mallaidh ([name_f]Mollie[/name_f]) or like Mully/Ma-lee unless I try to prn the R which gives me the name with an Irish/Canadian accent. My partner likes both ways I say it and thinks it’s cute.
Anyway…
We have two dilemmas that we would like some help/input/suggestions with.
Are there any nicknames for [name_u]Marley[/name_u]?
Apart from [name_u]Mars[/name_u] and Marl?
(open to stretches and oddity)
Also, sisters nns both have four letters if that helps?
We need a middle name.
We will NOT be using honour names and don’t really want anything in the top 100.
Current middle name choice is Nadzieja. (nuh-jay-uh) Loving it for the Polish connection and meaning of hope.
Other names considered were [name_u]Halle[/name_u], [name_f]Kailani[/name_f], [name_f]Saskia[/name_f], [name_f]Astrid[/name_f], and [name_f]Bridget[/name_f]. But not sure if any of them really flow well together.
Surname is Scottish and starts with M.
NOTE: I am Polish/Australian and partner is Scottish/Irish/British/Australian.
So Polish/Irish names would be lovely and ‘weird’ names or spellings wouldn’t be a problem for us.
What middle name would you give a daughter named [name_u]Marley[/name_u]?
Hoping a suggestion can help us find the right middle name.
Thank you for taking the time to read my post
Help/replies would be very much appreciated

Nickname - I don’t really feel the need for a nickname, but I might be inclined to go with [name_u]Lee[/name_u].
I love [name_u]Marley[/name_u]. I have a friend called [name_u]Marley[/name_u], who goes by [name_m]Ra[/name_m], or ra-ra by close friends and family. It’s a spunky name, great choice! I love the idea of incorporating your polish ancestry.
