naming no 3 is not as easy as 1 - 2 - 3

I am now past my due date by exactly 1 week and booked in for some help this week.
I am so indecisive about names and overwhelmed by choice, the pressure is on. We have two beautiful children [name_m]Harry[/name_m] [name_m]Kingston[/name_m] and [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] [name_f]Catherine[/name_f]. Our surname is one syllable and punchy. I love [name_m]Harry[/name_m]'s name but feel like I settled a little with [name_f]Georgia[/name_f]'s name.

If we have a girl I had pretty much decided on [name_f]Delta[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f] but I am worried that something doesn’t sit well with [name_f]Delta[/name_f] and [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] as sister names plus they both end in an ‘a’ sound, am I right or wrong about this?

Other names we like include
[name_u]Eden[/name_u]
[name_f]Delilah[/name_f]
[name_f]Naomi[/name_f]
[name_f]Clara[/name_f]
[name_f]Aurora[/name_f]
[name_f]Autumn[/name_f]
[name_f]Pearl[/name_f]

Boys names we like include
[name_m]Gabriel[/name_m]
[name_u]August[/name_u]
Family name Styles which we would likely use in the middle
[name_m]Oliver[/name_m]
[name_u]Emmett[/name_u]
[name_m]Ethan[/name_m]
[name_m]Enzo[/name_m] (husband doesn’t like)
[name_m]Joe[/name_m]

Can you suggest something that works from the above list or maybe something new?
We do like both nature and place names combined with something that is timeless and classic. Thanks in advance!

I think [name_f]Delta[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f] works - otherwise my favourites are [name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_f]Clara[/name_f]/[name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f], [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m] [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] or [name_m]Ethan[/name_m] Styles.

I like [name_f]Delta[/name_f] but can totally understand the issue with both ending in the same sound.
I really like [name_u]Eden[/name_u] [name_f]Aurora[/name_f]? I am also crushing on [name_u]August[/name_u] at the moment so would suggest [name_u]August[/name_u] [name_m]Oliver[/name_m].

I don’t like [name_f]Delta[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f], I think it sounds like it’s missing a syllable or it just doesn’t flow I can’t really pick out the issue.

I second the idea of [name_u]Eden[/name_u] [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] that is such a majestic name… Picking out other combos from your list I would say: [name_f]Naomi[/name_f] [name_f]Autumn[/name_f], [name_f]Delilah[/name_f] [name_u]Eden[/name_u], [name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] (turns out someone else said that one too so this is also a seconding… ).

You might also like the name [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] which would work with [name_f]Autumn[/name_f], [name_u]Eden[/name_u], [name_f]Aurora[/name_f], or [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] as a middle.

[name_f]Delta[/name_f] is my favorite of all the names you have listed. I don’t think the -a ending is enough to make me not like delta anymore. Of all your other names [name_f]Autumn[/name_f] is probably my favorite.

I think [name_f]Delta[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f] works really well, but honestly I think all the names on your girls’ list go really well with [name_m]Harry[/name_m] and [name_f]Georgia[/name_f]. I love the suggestion of [name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_f]Clara[/name_f] and I think [name_f]Delilah[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] would be a lovely combo too.

From your boys’ list, I don’t think [name_u]August[/name_u], [name_m]Enzo[/name_m] or [name_m]Joe[/name_m] work particularly well with the sibset. [name_u]August[/name_u] feels too grand, [name_m]Enzo[/name_m] too Italian, and [name_m]Joe[/name_m] too plain and too close in sound to the start of [name_f]Georgia[/name_f]. I think [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m], [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] or [name_m]Ethan[/name_m] would fit best with your childrens’ names. I’d go with [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m] Styles, [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] Styles or [name_m]Ethan[/name_m] [name_m]Oliver[/name_m].

[name_f]Autumn[/name_f]! So, so pretty!

thank you for your help - wish me luck tomorrow

Good luck, have a blessed delivery and a beautiful and healthy baby!
