We have our third on the way and are stuck between [name_f]Luna[/name_f], [name_f]Coral[/name_f] and [name_f]Winona[/name_f]. We like names with a winter-y/forest vibe, as it reflects the beautiful place we now live in. The big brother and sister are [name_u]James[/name_u] Oleander and [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f], first names are honor names and our children go by their middles. [name_f]Honor[/name_f] names for this girl are [name_f]Lenore[/name_f], [name_u]Marion[/name_u], [name_f]Anna[/name_f] and [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f]/[name_f]Adele[/name_f].
I prefer [name_f]Adele[/name_f] [name_f]Winona[/name_f] or [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] [name_f]Coral[/name_f], but my DH prefers [name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Coral[/name_f], [name_f]Lenore[/name_f] [name_f]Winona[/name_f] and [name_u]Marion[/name_u] [name_f]Luna[/name_f]. If I had to pick from his favorites it would be [name_u]Marion[/name_u] [name_f]Luna[/name_f], but because of flow only. I love [name_f]Luna[/name_f], I just worry it’ll grow too quick in popularity… What with the cartoon “[name_f]Earth[/name_f] to [name_f]Luna[/name_f]!” and all.
Would love some feedback on our options so far! We’re in a bit of a hurry because she’s due on [name_u]Christmas[/name_u]!
[name_u]James[/name_u], [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] and [name_f]Anna[/name_f] are all lovely classic honour firsts, so I’m tempted by [name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Coral[/name_f] — it’s beautiful! [name_u]Marion[/name_u] [name_f]Luna[/name_f] is gorgeous, but [name_f]Luna[/name_f] is popular and might feel a bit mainstream next to the sibs since they go by their middles.
I’m not sure [name_f]Luna[/name_f] goes with Oleander and [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f]. I really like [name_f]Coral[/name_f], and it’s so underused (in my area). I like [name_f]Winona[/name_f], but all I can think of is [name_f]Winona[/name_f] [name_m]Ryder[/name_m]. My vote is for [name_f]Coral[/name_f]!
I think all your combos are spot on (although I think [name_u]Marion[/name_u] can pair with [name_f]Luna[/name_f], [name_f]Coral[/name_f], and [name_f]Winona[/name_f] equally well). I think you’re correct that [name_f]Luna[/name_f] is growing in popularity. [name_f]Winona[/name_f] is not my style and feels a little showier than your other children’s names. My favorite name with Oleander and [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] is [name_f]Coral[/name_f], with [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] [name_f]Coral[/name_f] being my first pick and [name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Coral[/name_f] my second.
[name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Coral[/name_f] is my favorite, with [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] [name_f]Coral[/name_f] as my second favorite. I think [name_f]Coral[/name_f] fits into the sibset beautifully and it is a great name.
Thank you all for the feedback so far. It seems [name_f]Coral[/name_f] is a favorite! Well, we still haven’t reached a decision, so hoping more members will chip in!
I like [name_f]Luna[/name_f] the most with [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] and Oleander. [name_f]Coral[/name_f] feels too trendy, too 2010s, too insubstantial next to rather grand but grounded [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] and Oleander.
I don’t dislike [name_f]Winona[/name_f] but to me she’s a very different kind of cool; she matches retro names well but not ones that sound like they’re [name_m]Shakespeare[/name_m]-inspired.
Loving [name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Coral[/name_f] with your sibset. [name_f]Anna[/name_f] is a beautiful classic like [name_u]James[/name_u] and [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f]. [name_f]Coral[/name_f] is unexpected and interesting like her siblings. It’s also naturey like Oleander and feminine like [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f].
Hello all! We decided to name our baby [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] [name_f]Fawn[/name_f]. It honors my granny [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] and [name_f]Fawn[/name_f] rhymes with the first half of other honor name [name_f]Anna[/name_f] (that’s how it was pronounced by this relative: Aw-nuh). We’re very happy with our choice! We found [name_f]Fawn[/name_f] in those old thread of nameberry’s that we found on our many google searches: Nameberry - Welcome to the Nameberry Forums
