Naming Styles - so confused!

For boys, my naming style is pretty clear. I like almost anything english/welsh, plus a few southern sounding names, and popularity doesn’t really bother me too much. For girls, however, the names on my list range from frilly to old fashioned to trendy to modern to just plain out there! I’ll give you a few of my favorites:

[name]Eliza[/name], [name]Eva[/name], [name]Evelyn[/name], [name]Isobel[/name], [name]Lucy[/name], [name]Nora[/name], [name]Violet[/name]
[name]Colette[/name], [name]Eloise[/name], [name]Lydia[/name], [name]Wendy[/name]
[name]Greta[/name], [name]June[/name], [name]Lena[/name], [name]Luella[/name], [name]Libby[/name], [name]Mabel[/name], [name]Mira[/name], [name]Olive[/name], [name]Susannah[/name]
[name]Harper[/name], [name]Isla[/name], [name]Poppy[/name], [name]Reese[/name], [name]Teagan[/name], [name]Zoe[/name]
[name]Alba[/name], [name]Annora[/name], [name]Ayelet[/name], [name]Blythe[/name], [name]Brighton[/name], [name]Bronwen[/name], [name]Cosima[/name], [name]Ever[/name], [name]Fable[/name], [name]Galilee[/name], [name]Greer[/name], [name]Lyric[/name], [name]Neve[/name], [name]Seraphina[/name]

I kind of categorized those in my head as to what I think kind of “goes together” for whatever reason. The only problem is, I love ALL of these names. [name]How[/name] could I ever choose which style to go with? I know sibling matchiness isn’t a big deal for everyone, but it IS for me.

So I need your help! Which style is your favorite? Which names do you like best? Which is the most practical for real life? Would you use names from different categories? Which style works best with boys names like [name]Julian[/name], [name]Leo[/name], [name]Miles[/name], [name]Declan[/name], [name]Archer[/name], [name]Finlay[/name], [name]Reid[/name], [name]Cormac[/name] and [name]Arlo[/name]?

Thanks in advance

From your list I love

[name]Susannah[/name]
[name]Eliza[/name]
[name]Violet[/name]
[name]Mabel[/name]
[name]Greta[/name]
[name]June[/name]
[name]Lena[/name]
[name]Olive[/name]
[name]Poppy[/name]
[name]Isla[/name]
[name]Annora[/name]

I think you could totally mix and match from the sets you’ve made! I can totally see sisters [name]Mabel[/name] & [name]Violet[/name] or [name]Lydia[/name] & [name]Violet[/name]…

And then matching with your boys names, you have so many other options! Instead of thinking you have to stay within a set and choose only one style, experiment! [name]Don[/name]'t limit yourself!

For sibling matchiness:
[name]Julian[/name] and [name]Cormac[/name] and [name]Isobel[/name] and [name]Neve[/name]
[name]Finlay[/name] and [name]Mabel[/name]
[name]Leo[/name] and [name]Nora[/name], [name]Mira[/name]
[name]Eliza[/name], [name]Eloise[/name], [name]Violet[/name], [name]Lydia[/name], [name]Mabel[/name], [name]Blythe[/name], [name]Wendy[/name]
[name]Arlo[/name] and [name]Isla[/name], [name]Reid[/name] and [name]Zoe[/name]

girl combinations:
[name]Susannah[/name] [name]Eliza[/name], [name]Eliza[/name] [name]Harper[/name], [name]Wendy[/name] [name]Galilee[/name], [name]Zoe[/name] [name]Mabel[/name], [name]Mira[/name] [name]Evelyn[/name], [name]Annora[/name] [name]Colette[/name], [name]Seraphina[/name] [name]Reese[/name], [name]Lydia[/name] [name]Fable[/name].

I think you can mostly mix and match these. I think the fourth row may be the hardest since they’re a little more popular/modern/trendy right now…although I think [name]Isla[/name] could mi well with the others. I can sort of see how you divided them in your head but they’re really not so different that they couldn’t make a nice sibset. I don’t think siblings have to “match” but I do think they shouldn’t be jarring together. I’d say some of your names in the last line fit best with your boys…but I would also split your last line into two separate categories, lol. I wouldn’t worry about it though. When you have a child, just pick a name you love that you think suits him/her and then worry about the siblings after.
