[name_f]Coral[/name_f] and [name_f]Opal[/name_f] sound like sisters, and most definitely sound like twins. Initially I thought perhaps they might sound too matchy, and might box you in to a certain naming style (gemstones only), but honestly I just really love the two names together.
[name_f]Coral[/name_f] [name_f]Mathilde[/name_f] is my favorite. It’s unexpected in the right ways and it’s a very musical combo.
[name_f]Coral[/name_f] [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] - I wouldn’t use this because of the C.C. initials. And [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] feels too normal and plain next to [name_f]Coral[/name_f] (which is one of those names that need to be dressed up otherwise it can feel too dressed-down… see what I mean? Eg [name_f]Coral[/name_f] [name_f]Faye[/name_f] vs [name_f]Coral[/name_f] [name_f]Mathilde[/name_f])
[name_f]Opal[/name_f] [name_f]Mathilde[/name_f] has the same charm that [name_f]Coral[/name_f] [name_f]Mathilde[/name_f] does, but I prefer [name_f]Coral[/name_f] [name_f]Mathilde[/name_f] for some reason.
[name_f]Opal[/name_f] [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] - I think this is very pretty, but I still feel something lacking. If it helps any, I think [name_m]Mathis[/name_m] is an amazing guy’s name and should be used, so maybe consider saving Cath/[name_m]Math[/name_m] for your possible son? (That is if you don’t want to honor the same person twice) If you’re really set on [name_f]Catherine[/name_f], honestly this is truly a gorgeous combo and my comments are just being nitpicky at this point.
[name_f]Coral[/name_f] [name_f]Mathilde[/name_f] & [name_f]Opal[/name_f] [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] are the prettiest sib-set I’ve seen in a really long time!
[name_m]Harry[/name_m] is the only boy’s name I wouldn’t use along with [name_f]Coral[/name_f].
[name_m]Peter[/name_m] [name_m]Mathis[/name_m] or [name_m]Peter[/name_m] [name_m]Mathias[/name_m] are AMAZING guy’s names (so so handsome) and work really well with both [name_f]Coral[/name_f] and [name_f]Opal[/name_f].
[name_m]Peter[/name_m] and [name_u]Jude[/name_u] are marginally better than [name_m]Peter[/name_m] and [name_m]Harry[/name_m]; I’m just not sure how well [name_m]Harry[/name_m] blends with the rest of your names. [name_u]Jude[/name_u] sticks out a little, too.
Thanks so much Roseofjune for your response! You’ve really given me some things to consider. I was thinking that maybe [name_f]Coral[/name_f] and [name_f]Opal[/name_f] are too similar but spoken they don’t feel that way… I don’t know. I’m kind of in a rut here.
