Naming variation

I was thinking about using the name [name_f]Anya[/name_f] for a girl, the middle name [name_f]Johanna[/name_f] for another girl, and have the middle name of [name_f]Joy[/name_f] myself. Too many [name_u]Jo[/name_u]-Anns?

I think it’s fine. Many parents give the father’s name to a son, making him a [name_m]Jr[/name_m]/III/etc. You may be giving her your name, but, with your take on it, you’re also giving your daughter her own identity. [name_f]Anya[/name_f] [name_f]Joy[/name_f] is a great name and a sweet way to pass on your name to your daughter.

Thanks! I was actually thinking [name_f]Inga[/name_f] [name_f]Johanna[/name_f] and [name_f]Anya[/name_f] [name_f]Caroline[/name_f], the latter being after my grandma.

That would be a beautiful sister set, and both carrying a piece of your name would make it that more special.

Gorgeous names! If they were both first names, I’d have a problem with it but the way you have arranged them is perfect!

I think a family theme isn’t too bad, my family has a lot of [name_u]Anne[/name_u]/Dianna and [name_f]Mary[/name_f]/Marie variations scattered about the girls.

No I think that’s absolutely fine!

I like [name_f]Inga[/name_f] [name_f]Johanna[/name_f] & [name_f]Anya[/name_f] [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] are lovely names very classic with a wonderful European vibe.
