Our last name begins with a B, has URT in the middle, and ends in an ON. (avoiding those spambots! )
My other children are named:
[name]William[/name] Takashi
[name]Reilly[/name] Sentaro
[name]Bronwen[/name] Fumie
Hilani Hisamarie
[name]Sakura[/name] LouJean
Musashi [name]Dustin[/name]
[name]Cora[/name] [name]Dove[/name] [name]Columbia[/name] [name]Megumi[/name]
I am due in winter. [name]Cora[/name] [name]Dove[/name] is a year old, so this name really needs to go with [name]Cora[/name] [name]Dove[/name] best.
But if you’ll notice, we have a pattern of every other name ending in an -i, -ie, or -y sound.
Also, all children have a Japanese name.
My husband has always adored [name]Rachel[/name], and I’ve always resisted using it, but I think it is high time he got his way.
[name]Naomi[/name] is a major compromise for both of us: for him, it is not like my usual savior faire (I was pushing for [name]Clementine[/name] or [name]Idony[/name]!)
for me, [name]Naomi[/name] in Japanese means “Above all, beauty”.
We have been able to agree her nn will be [name]Mei[/name]. Or [name]Mei[/name]-[name]Mei[/name]. Or [name]Mei[/name]-chan. Something like that.
So, [name]Naomi[/name] [name]Rachel[/name]…but I still need to get my naming ya-yas out,
AND, as my hormones are churning…can I have some reassurance on [name]Naomi[/name]? I nearly break out in hives when I use anything that goes too high on the SSA, which I know is terrible snobbery.
Can you help me find some really fun second middle names to put with [name]Naomi[/name] [name]Rachel[/name]?
I am thinking 1 or 3 syllables may be best.
[name]One[/name] my husband came up with is:
[name]Naomi[/name] [name]Wren[/name] [name]Rachel[/name].
That would be nice as it would go with our [name]Cora[/name] [name]Dove[/name]'s name.
WDYT?
Thank you Berries!
