[name_f]Aria[/name_f]/[name_u]Arya[/name_u]
[name_f]Laurel[/name_f] or Laura
[name_f]Luna[/name_f]
[name_f]Lydia[/name_f]
[name_f]Winnie[/name_f]
Oops I forgot to add [name_u]Evan[/name_u]!
All of your names are lovely! They’d make a great sibling set.
My favourites are [name_f]Winnie[/name_f], [name_u]Evan[/name_u], [name_f]Laurel[/name_f] & [name_f]Luna[/name_f].
Favorites: [name_f]Laurel[/name_f] #1, [name_f]Laura[/name_f] #2, [name_f]Lydia[/name_f], #3, [name_u]Evan[/name_u], #4. I love [name_f]Laurel[/name_f].
I like [name_f]Aria[/name_f] and [name_f]Luna[/name_f]. [name_f]Lydia[/name_f] comes third, then [name_f]Laura[/name_f] ([name_f]Laurel[/name_f] sounds nasty in my accent, sorry lol) and finally [name_f]Winnie[/name_f].
I like [name_f]Laurel[/name_f], [name_f]Luna[/name_f], [name_f]Lydia[/name_f] and [name_f]Winnie[/name_f] (although I’d go with [name_f]Winifred[/name_f] or [name_f]Winsome[/name_f] and use [name_f]Winnie[/name_f] as the nickname).
I do not like [name_f]Aria[/name_f] at all - It’s on the cusp of becoming overused. It’s also one of those names that so many people have tried to spell “Kreeativelee” (Aariya, Ariyaah etc), that it might become really dated quite soon, whereas all your other suggestions are lovely and timeless.
Favourite is [name_f]Winnie[/name_f] or [name_f]Lydia[/name_f] - tied.
Between [name_f]Laurel[/name_f] and [name_f]Laura[/name_f], [name_f]Laurel[/name_f] is the hands-down winner. It seems so fresh and elegant.
I don’t dislike any of them but [name_f]Lydia[/name_f] is my favorite.
[name_f]Aria[/name_f]/[name_u]Arya[/name_u] - Not one of my favorites. Reminds me too much of Game of Thrones (there’s a character with the name [name_u]Arya[/name_u]) and seems very dated.
[name_f]Laurel[/name_f] or [name_f]Laura[/name_f] - Dislike [name_f]Laura[/name_f], love [name_f]Laurel[/name_f]. Such an underused name.
[name_f]Luna[/name_f] - [name_u]Love[/name_u] it but kind of popular. I would use it as a middle.
[name_f]Lydia[/name_f] - So underused! Very pretty.
[name_f]Winnie[/name_f] - One of my favorites name So youthful.
[name_u]Arya[/name_u] - Game of Thrones.
[name_f]Laura[/name_f] - Seems plain. I like [name_f]Laurel[/name_f] slightly better.
[name_f]Luna[/name_f] - I like it.
[name_f]Lydia[/name_f] - I dislike it.
[name_f]Winnie[/name_f] - Seems like a nickname.
[name_f]Aria[/name_f]/[name_u]Arya[/name_u] - The y spelling is nms, but I like [name_f]Aria[/name_f] as a mn (ex, [name_f]Laurel[/name_f] [name_f]Aria[/name_f] is charming)
[name_f]Laurel[/name_f] - I’ve been mentioning this name a lot on the forums, it’s a new favorite. It’s girly without an A ending, and has lots of vintage charm.
[name_f]Laura[/name_f] - nms sorry
[name_f]Luna[/name_f] - cute name that makes me think of [name_u]Sailor[/name_u] [name_f]Moon[/name_f] more than [name_m]Harry[/name_m] [name_m]Potter[/name_m]
[name_f]Lydia[/name_f] - Another vintage name I’m glad hasn’t caught on yet. It doesn’t have any associations for me, just simple and slightly lacey.
[name_f]Winnie[/name_f] - This name is clearly nn, and while I do think it’s cute, [name_f]Winnie[/name_f] itself doesn’t seem to fit with the names on your list. [name_f]Winifred[/name_f] nn [name_f]Winnie[/name_f] maybe.
In preference order:
[name_f]Lydia[/name_f] ([name_u]Love[/name_u])
[name_f]Aria[/name_f] ([name_u]Love[/name_u])
[name_u]Arya[/name_u] (Prefer the [name_f]Aria[/name_f] spelling)
[name_f]Winnie[/name_f] (Interesting)
[name_f]Luna[/name_f] (Ok)
[name_f]Laura[/name_f] (I find this a bit boring)
[name_f]Laurel[/name_f] (Same as [name_f]Laura[/name_f])
[name_u]Evan[/name_u] (I know too many boys with this name to see it as a girls name)
In preference order:
[name_f]Lydia[/name_f] ([name_u]Love[/name_u])
[name_f]Aria[/name_f] ([name_u]Love[/name_u])
[name_u]Arya[/name_u] (Prefer the [name_f]Aria[/name_f] spelling)
[name_f]Winnie[/name_f] (Interesting)
[name_f]Luna[/name_f] (Ok)
[name_f]Laura[/name_f] (I find this a bit boring)
[name_f]Laurel[/name_f] (Same as [name_f]Laura[/name_f])
[name_u]Evan[/name_u] (I know too many boys with this name to see it as a girls name)
[name_f]Aria[/name_f]/[name_u]Arya[/name_u] - although the y does look attractive, I feel that [name_u]Arya[/name_u] may create pronunciation errors. I would stick with [name_f]Aria[/name_f].
[name_f]Laurel[/name_f] or [name_f]Laura[/name_f] - I love both of these. I prefer [name_f]Laura[/name_f], a timeless classic. [name_f]Laurel[/name_f] is nice for something more modern and unique.
[name_f]Luna[/name_f] - so gorgeous! Beautiful imagery, too!
[name_f]Lydia[/name_f] - one of my favourites. [name_f]Lydia[/name_f] just makes me think of a beautiful young girl!!
[name_f]Winnie[/name_f] - I dislike it, it’s outdated. It’s a cute nickname though. For [name_u]Windsor[/name_u], [name_f]Winslet[/name_f] or [name_u]Winslow[/name_u], maybe?
[name_f]Aria[/name_f]/[name_u]Arya[/name_u] - I prefer [name_u]Arya[/name_u] after reading Eragon
[name_f]Laurel[/name_f] or [name_f]Laura[/name_f] - I prefer [name_f]Laurel[/name_f] but probably because I have a friend named [name_f]Laurel[/name_f]
[name_f]Luna[/name_f] - one of my favorites!
[name_f]Lydia[/name_f] - I’ve tried to like this but I just can’t
[name_f]Winnie[/name_f] - I don’t like it reminds me of whiny
[name_u]Evan[/name_u] - I don’t like this
[name_f]Aria[/name_f]/[name_u]Arya[/name_u]: I like this name, but its rising popularity might be an issue if you’re sensitive to those types of things. I slightly prefer the [name_f]Aria[/name_f] spelling because of the musical term.
[name_f]Laurel[/name_f] or [name_f]Laura[/name_f]: I’m surprised no one likes [name_f]Laura[/name_f]! I prefer [name_f]Laura[/name_f] over [name_f]Laurel[/name_f]. To me, [name_f]Laurel[/name_f] just sounds kind of… warbling? That’s the only word that comes to mind. [name_f]Laura[/name_f] sounds much more clear.
[name_f]Luna[/name_f]: One of my favourites! I’ve been told the Loony/Lunatic [name_f]Luna[/name_f] comments could be a problem, but I honestly don’t think many people will immediately jump to Loony [name_f]Luna[/name_f]. Unless they’re [name_m]Harry[/name_m] [name_m]Potter[/name_m] fans.
[name_f]Lydia[/name_f]: Pretty! This name isn’t my style, but I like to see it on other people’s lists.
[name_f]Winnie[/name_f]: Reminds me of whinny, like the sound a horse makes. I think I could tolerate this as a nickname, but a longer name might be nice to put on official documents.
[name_u]Evan[/name_u]: A bit too masculine for me. I like more obviously feminine names.
[name_f]Aria[/name_f]/[name_u]Arya[/name_u] - honestly I think any girl or woman would love for this to be her name. It’s feminine and sultry.
[name_f]Luna[/name_f] - is a so whimsical and enchanting, personally I would love if this were my name.
[name_f]Lydia[/name_f] - is a vintage gem yet somehow it reminds me of a tomboy. Still lovely none the less.
[name_f]Laurel[/name_f]/[name_f]Laura[/name_f] - I prefer [name_f]Laura[/name_f]. But I feel they both are a tad outdated.
[name_f]Winnie[/name_f] - is cute and I much prefer it to all the “[name_u]Winn[/name_u]” variations. I picture a little piggytailed, round cheeked, princess with this name.
Best wishes, hope you find a name you love!
- [name_f]Aria[/name_f]
- [name_f]Lydia[/name_f]
- [name_f]Laurel[/name_f]
- [name_f]Luna[/name_f]
- [name_u]Evan[/name_u]
- [name_f]Winnie[/name_f]
[name_f]Winnie[/name_f] and [name_f]Lydia[/name_f]
I like:
- [name_f]Lydia[/name_f]
- [name_f]Laura[/name_f]
- [name_f]Winnie[/name_f]
- [name_f]Aria[/name_f]
- [name_f]Laurel[/name_f]
- [name_f]Luna[/name_f]
- [name_u]Evan[/name_u]
I agree about [name_f]Aria[/name_f].
I love [name_f]Luna[/name_f], it’s my favorite off of your list.
I prefer [name_f]Laurel[/name_f] to [name_f]Laura[/name_f].
[name_f]Lydia[/name_f] has always sounded harsh to me.
I love [name_f]Winnie[/name_f], but I think with the other names you like it would work better as a nn. Maybe [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] or [name_f]Bronwen[/name_f] or [name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f] if you don’t like the traditional [name_f]Winifred[/name_f].
I dislike [name_u]Evan[/name_u] for a girl (or boy for that matter, I much prefer [name_m]Evander[/name_m], but only on a boy.)
