I voted for [name]Charlotte[/name] Dolhanyk. You can’t go wrong with this classic, beautiful name, and I honestly think it sounds best with your last name.

I would steer you away from [name]Piper[/name], because as I was saying all of the names to myself, [name]Piper[/name] D0lh@nyk sounded like “Paper [name]Doll[/name]”!

You’ve got a nice list of names! I love [name]Charlotte[/name], [name]Lucy[/name], [name]Eden[/name] and [name]Lily[/name], but [name]Audrey[/name] gets my vote. It’s a beautiful vintage name and it works nicely with your surname.

They are all lovely, but with a complex surname a light, easy first name might be best. I think your intuitions are correct-- 2 syllables, max. I voted for [name]Lucy[/name], but was torn between it and [name]Lily[/name]. [name]Audrey[/name] I liked too since the Ds somewhat reinforce each other. I would select something that, like these three names, has a lot of liquid and vowel sound to balance the heavy sound of the D, H, N and K (each syllable is closed save the last- CVC, CVC, VC).

I know [name]Charlotte[/name] is only two syllables, but it’s a lengthy name-- perhaps too lengthy for Dolhanyk.

[name]Piper[/name] and [name]Eden[/name] are sweet but a little less formal and serious than lovely [name]Lily[/name], [name]Lucy[/name] and [name]Audrey[/name]. [name]Aria[/name] to me is a very insubstantial name-- it’s Italian for “air,” and is an opera term for the diva’s solo. Unless that has special meaning to you, I would stay away.

I like all of them except for [name]Eden[/name] (I don’t like the Biblical association). I voted for [name]Piper[/name] and [name]Aria[/name]. I don’t think [name]Aria[/name] is unsubstantial at all. [name]Aria[/name] is a strong and wonderful literary character from [name]George[/name] R.R. [name]Martin[/name]'s A Song of Ice and [name]Fire[/name].

I like [name]Lucy[/name] the best of your names… with [name]Audrey[/name] second…

good luck!

[name]Lucy[/name] is my favorite, followed by [name]Charlotte[/name] and [name]Audrey[/name]. I do like [name]Piper[/name], but I don’t think it flows well with your last name.

I’d advise against using the name [name]Eden[/name] because that’s a name that shows up in porn movie credits.

I love [name]Lily[/name], but I went for [name]Audrey[/name] because:

a) its gorgeous
b) [name]Lily[/name] is very popular
c) visually speaking, I like the look of it with your surname

I voted for [name]Lily[/name] because I love it, but I love [name]Audrey[/name] as well!

I voted for [name]Audrey[/name] because of how it sounds with your last name. My second choice would be [name]Lucy[/name].

I voted for [name]Lucy[/name] and [name]Aria[/name]. The others feel sort of tired to me…

[name]Lily[/name] is soo adorable! But I also like [name]Charlotte[/name] because it’s classic without being outdated.
