We eat a girls name that is spunky, sweet & full of personality! We have a few top contenders, but none of them feel like “the one!” yet.
They are:
[name_u]Piper[/name_u]
[name_f]Lola[/name_f]
[name_u]Fifer[/name_u]
Does anyone have any suggestions that may fit in with our final list?
We love [name_u]Piper[/name_u] but I’m afraid it’s going to be too popular…
I am obsessed with [name_f]Lola[/name_f] but my mom just named her new dog this. deal breaker?
& [name_u]Fifer[/name_u] is like a spunkier, less common [name_u]Piper[/name_u]! But I get mixed reviews. Some people hate it & I don’t want her to have a name she will be made fun of for.
A couple of other ideas…
[name_f]Nina[/name_f]
[name_f]Stella[/name_f]
[name_f]Faye[/name_f]
[name_f]Sadie[/name_f]
[name_u]Carter[/name_u]
[name_u]Frankie[/name_u]
[name_u]Ruby[/name_u]
[name_u]Fifer[/name_u] is great! I love it! You will get mixed reviews on any name you pick. [name_m]Just[/name_m] go with what you love. It’s certainly not a name she would get made fun of for.
[name_u]Piper[/name_u] is not my style.
Other short, spunky names (my favorite kind!):
[name_f]Zadie[/name_f] (I have one!)
[name_f]Lula[/name_f] (have one of these too!)
[name_f]Clover[/name_f]
[name_f]Bea[/name_f]
[name_f]Beatrix[/name_f]
[name_f]Iona[/name_f]
[name_f]Nell[/name_f]
[name_f]Fenna[/name_f]
[name_f]Olive[/name_f]
[name_u]Wynn[/name_u]
[name_f]Zelda[/name_f]
[name_f]Lola[/name_f] is my favorite, but I think you would need to talk to your mom about changing her dogs name first. i mean it’s one of your top 3, which is pretty big. See if she would be open to that. Otherwise, yes deal breaker.
[name_u]Piper[/name_u] and [name_u]Fifer[/name_u] are less my style, but they are very spunky and sweet. Of the two, I prefer [name_u]Piper[/name_u]. Good luck!
Recently been obsessed with [name_u]Fifer[/name_u]! I do think [name_u]Piper[/name_u] might get way too popular.
[name_f]Lola[/name_f] - While I think it wouldn’t be that big of a deal with a more unusual name, I know about 3 dogs named [name_f]Lola[/name_f], which isn’t necessarily a problem, you’re just probably bound to meet more dogs named [name_f]Lola[/name_f]. If it bothers you, maybe you could do a long form name and nickname [name_f]Lola[/name_f]? [name_f]Dolores[/name_f] is the traditional long form but I think it could work for [name_f]Lauren[/name_f] / [name_f]Laurel[/name_f], [name_f]Paloma[/name_f], [name_f]Louise[/name_f] / [name_f]Louisa[/name_f], [name_u]Eloise[/name_u], [name_u]Marlow[/name_u], [name_f]Willow[/name_f], [name_u]Shiloh[/name_u], etc.
I think [name_u]Piper[/name_u] is adorable! It is getting popular, but I think people still see it as the name for a sweet, spunky girl.
I love [name_f]Lola[/name_f] too, but to me it comes across more as feminine and soft; just depends what you’re going for.
To be honest, when I hear [name_u]Fifer[/name_u] it sounds like someone who wanted to use [name_u]Piper[/name_u] but thought it would be too common so changed it just a bit. I personally don’t care for it, but it is unique!
