I need some opinions Berries!
We are tossing up between 3 different girls names and I’d love to hear your preferences along with what sort of characteristics you think of to match each name (side note: a couple of the names are unisex which we are happy with, after posting this question on another site a few ppl were strictly against this, but we like it!) the names are
[name_f]Penelope[/name_f] nn [name_u]Penny[/name_u]
[name_u]Hadley[/name_u] nn Haddie
[name_u]Blair[/name_u] nn B
Thanks so much, I just cannot decide!!
I think [name_f]Penelope[/name_f], nicknamed [name_u]Penny[/name_u], is absolutely precious.
I really like these names - where I’m from, [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] (nn [name_u]Penny[/name_u]) is definitely the most wearable, so that would probably be my first choice. I’m least fond of [name_u]Hadley[/name_u] (although I do think it’s a cool name), and I love [name_u]Blair[/name_u] probably mainly thanks to Gossip Girl. I think you need a little bit of spunk to be able to pull off [name_u]Blair[/name_u] or [name_u]Hadley[/name_u], but all three names are super cool. I think they all have quite different vibes though, so I suppose it depends on what feel you’re going for - girly ([name_u]Penny[/name_u]), a more masculine sound ([name_u]Hadley[/name_u]) or something short and cool ([name_u]Blair[/name_u]).
I love [name_u]Blair[/name_u]. It’s sleek and recognizable while still being relatively uncommon. B is a spunky, cool, simple, nickname. [name_u]Hadley[/name_u] always sounds a little cutesy to me - though it’s similar in sound to names like [name_u]Ashley[/name_u] and [name_f]Hayley[/name_f] and there are plenty of adults/young adults with those names now. [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] I don’t care for (though [name_u]Penny[/name_u] is adorable), but that’s just my personal taste.
