[name_f]Helena[/name_f] is my ultimate favorite but I also like [name_f]Florence[/name_f] & [name_f]Augusta[/name_f].
Eek! Half of your list is on my list. It was hard to choose just one. I ended up voting for my #1 [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f].
[name_f]Augusta[/name_f] - I like it, but much prefer [name_m]Augustine[/name_m]. -gusta sounds a bit harsh.
[name_f]Caroline[/name_f] - [name_u]LOVE[/name_u]! I have it on my list and prefer it as a whole, but have [name_f]Callie[/name_f] as a potential nickname. I’m not a fan of [name_f]Carrie[/name_f] or [name_u]Caro[/name_u]/[name_f]Cara[/name_f].
[name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] - I really like [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]. Its a nice wholesome name. I have [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f] nn [name_f]Elsa[/name_f] on my list. I prefer the ‘s’ because it looks softer.
[name_f]Florence[/name_f] - I don’t love it, but I don’t hate it. I think the name as a whole is nice, but [name_f]Flo[/name_f] seems almost inevitable.
[name_f]Helena[/name_f] - Very pretty, but the multiple pronunciations trip me up. Which one are you using?
[name_f]Katherine[/name_f] – Another love of mine. It’s a strong classic choice with multiple nickname options
[name_f]Margaret[/name_f] - I’ve never been a fan of [name_f]Margaret[/name_f]. [name_f]Maggie[/name_f]/[name_f]Margot[/name_f] is very sweet, but [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] just sounds so harsh to my ears.
I prefer [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] over [name_f]Katherine[/name_f]
Thank you everyone for your input! [name_f]Florence[/name_f] is gone from my list. [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] and [name_f]Helena[/name_f] are the obvious front-runners according to the poll. [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] is definitely moving down the ranks since it’s basically my name, just in a different form.
@ikfly I’m using the pronunciation [name_f]Helen[/name_f]-uh. Huh-lee-nuh was my second choice, but no one I asked had heard it said that way.
My favorite is [name_f]Helena[/name_f], although accidentantly I vote for [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f].
My favorites are [name_f]Helena[/name_f], [name_f]Margaret[/name_f], and [name_f]Caroline[/name_f]. My least favorites are [name_f]Katherine[/name_f], [name_f]Augusta[/name_f], and [name_f]Florence[/name_f].
