The gender is unknown but the due date is at the end of the month.
We have a couple boy names, but haven’t chosen the final name
we like [name]Brayden[/name], [name]Colin[/name], [name]Julian[/name], [name]Elijah[/name]?
[name]Brayden[/name] [name]Matthew[/name]
[name]Colin[/name] [name]Matthew[/name]
[name]Julian[/name] [name]Thomas[/name]
[name]Elijah[/name] [name]James[/name]
Which do you like? Thanks for the help!
[name]Colin[/name] [name]Matthew[/name] gets my vote. [name]Elijah[/name] [name]James[/name] would be a close second…but [name]Elijah[/name] seems to be popping up everywhere. [name]Colin[/name] is familiar but not as popular. [name]Brayden[/name] just falls in with all the other -ayden names and I’m not a fan of [name]Julian[/name].
1 [name]Julian[/name] [name]Thomas[/name]- the only combo which has two names I love. I love the 3-2 syllable count. [name]Julian[/name] is a distinguished name with lots of history to back it up. It’s one of the more “softer” boys names around but I don’t find it feminine.
2 [name]Colin[/name] [name]Matthew[/name] - I like [name]Colin[/name] but [name]Matthew[/name] is kind of bland.
3 [name]Elijah[/name] [name]James[/name] - The names are fine separately but together there is too much “juh”. [name]James[/name] [name]Elijah[/name]?
4 [name]Brayden[/name] [name]Matthew[/name] - [name]Brayden[/name] is more like two popular sounds (ay and en) than a name for me. It’s very trendy and would blend in with all of the [name]Jayden[/name], Cadens, Aidans etc…that are running around.
I like [name]Julian[/name] and [name]Elijah[/name]. I would actually love to see [name]Julian[/name] [name]Elijah[/name] or [name]Elijah[/name] [name]Thomas[/name], but both of your combos are lovely as you have them. Are MNs honoring?
I like [name]Brayden[/name] [name]Matthew[/name] but can understand everyone’s concern about the popular -ayden sound. Maybe [name]Brandon[/name] [name]Matthew[/name] or [name]Breccan[/name] [name]Matthew[/name] would solve that problem but still give a similar sound/feel.
My other pick is [name]Elijah[/name] [name]James[/name]. I really like how timeless it is.
Ditto mischa!
I love [name]Elijah[/name] [name]James[/name] and I would only vote no on [name]Brayden[/name]. I think your other 3 top names are wonderful! Are you set on those middle name pairings? If not maybe combine first choices like [name]Colin[/name] [name]Elijah[/name] or [name]Julian[/name] [name]Elijah[/name]? (if you worry about [name]Elijah[/name]'s popularity) =]
[name]Julian[/name] & [name]Elijah[/name] are my favorites from your list. [name]Julian[/name] [name]Thomas[/name] is a handsome name! [name]Brayden[/name], not so much.
Anyway, whichever from [name]Julian[/name] or [name]Elijah[/name] you don’t use, you could save for a future sibling, they make an awesome sibset.
