Narrowing the list: What is your FIRST impression of a woman with these names?

We are narrowing down our list, and have to get this girl named! She’s 7-weeks old already ! What is your FIRST impression of a woman with these names (without thinking…and not impression of the name itself, or of a girl, but impression of a woman with the name). Thanks!

[name_f]Anne[/name_f]
[name_f]Caroline[/name_f]
[name_f]Claire[/name_f]
[name_f]Eve[/name_f]
[name_f]Jane[/name_f]
[name_f]Juliet[/name_f]
[name_f]Rose[/name_f]

If you don’t mind, I’m also curious of your first impressions of [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] and [name_f]Sarah[/name_f] (though we already received input on those two from another post ;)). Thanks!!

First, I love your first list a lot—several of these names are on my own list.

I envision someone with poise and grace for all seven of these names. Beyond that:

[name_f]Anne[/name_f] — prim, mature, gentle
[name_f]Caroline[/name_f] — intelligent but with a bit of whimsy
[name_f]Claire[/name_f] — bright, cheery, witty
[name_f]Eve[/name_f] — darker, gothic, soulful
[name_f]Jane[/name_f] — smart, snappy and professional
[name_f]Juliet[/name_f] — independent, free-spirited
[name_f]Rose[/name_f] — deep, thoughtful, idealistic

I don’t like [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] and [name_f]Sarah[/name_f] nearly as much ([name_u]Vivian[/name_u] is just not my style, and [name_f]Sarah[/name_f] is ubiquitous), but [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] is spunky and headstrong. [name_f]Sarah[/name_f]…sorry, don’t have much of an impression.

It doesn’t get more perfect than [name_f]Anne[/name_f] and [name_f]Jane[/name_f]!

[name_f]Anne[/name_f] - A serious person and a bussinesswoman
[name_f]Caroline[/name_f] - Sweet middle aged mother
[name_f]Claire[/name_f] - Classy and confident
[name_f]Eve[/name_f] - Simple and kind
[name_f]Jane[/name_f] - Someone who likes to read, kind of boring
[name_f]Juliet[/name_f] - A fun person who likes fashion
[name_f]Rose[/name_f] - Same as [name_f]Jane[/name_f]

If you don’t mind, I’m also curious of your first impressions of [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] and [name_f]Sarah[/name_f]

[name_f]Anne[/name_f] – smart, thoughtful, bookworm
[name_f]Caroline[/name_f] – very classy and upstanding
[name_f]Claire[/name_f] – shy/quiet, artistic
[name_f]Eve[/name_f] – outdoorsy/tomboyish
[name_f]Jane[/name_f] – sweet and lovable, modest about her natural talents
[name_f]Juliet[/name_f] – bright, fun, charming
[name_f]Rose[/name_f] – gentle and generous, motherly
[name_f]Vivian[/name_f] – serious and driven

(Sarah is kind of dated and overused, imo.)

Thank you! Anyone else? We’d love a few more opinions before deciding :)!

I feel that these names each project an image of classic beauty and timelessness.

I really enjoyed reading the responses to this question, as my daughter’s name, as well as my own are both on this list.

With such a beautiful bouquet of choices, you really can’t go wrong.
