[name_f]My[/name_f] DH and I have narrowed down our favorite baby boy names, but need your help to choose just one! [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] is big sis. Middle name will be [name_m]Thomas[/name_m]. Last name rhymes with Stoddard.
We can’t decide between [name_m]Nash[/name_m] or [name_u]Cade[/name_u]. I also like [name_m]Hugo[/name_m], [name_m]Fraser[/name_m], and [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] “[name_u]Theo[/name_u]”, but my DH would need convincing. We want to be unique and not too trendy. What is the best fit?
I honestly really dislike both, but I’d go with [name_u]Cade[/name_u] as the lesser of two evils. [name_m]Nash[/name_m] just makes me think “nasty” and “wailing and gnashing of teeth.”
I would campaign hard for [name_m]Theodore[/name_m]!
I prefer [name_u]Cade[/name_u] to [name_m]Nash[/name_m]- though I’d prefer [name_m]Theodore[/name_m], or [name_m]Hugo[/name_m], to either of them.
[name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] and [name_u]Cade[/name_u] are both characters in Gone With the Wind- it’s one of my favourite novels and not sure how many people would make the association, but just FYI. [name_u]Cade[/name_u] isn’t that important of a character but he does show up several times in the book, can’t remember if he’s in the movie at all.
[name_u]Cade[/name_u] [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] by a million miles!
I love [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] from your other names. And even though I don’t love alliteration, [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] sounds very nice!
[name_m]Nash[/name_m] just remind me of [name_m]Nash[/name_m] [name_f]Grier[/name_f] the boy how makes [name_m]Vine[/name_m] videos and is pretty popular. I personally prefer [name_u]Cade[/name_u].
If you like [name_m]Nash[/name_m] can I suggest [name_m]Dashiell[/name_m] ‘[name_u]Dash[/name_u]’? I think [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] and [name_m]Dashiell[/name_m] sound wonderful together
I really like the idea of [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] and [name_m]Nash[/name_m] together! They’re both very fresh and vibrant names, a bit on the trendy side, but in a good way. They’ve got spunk and sass. I like that they both of pop culture/literary ties, too. [name_m]Nash[/name_m] [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] is a bit tongue-twistery with all the "S"s and "H"s, but it’s not bad enough that I wouldn’t use it, imo. I do like the idea of [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] and [name_m]Hugo[/name_m], too, but if he can’t be convinced, I wouldn’t try to force it. [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] and [name_m]Nash[/name_m] are adorable!
I know way too many baby boy [name_u]Cade[/name_u]'s. [name_f]My[/name_f] vote is on [name_m]Nash[/name_m], it sounds way hipper with [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f].
