[name_m]Hi[/name_m] Guys! When you hear name [name_f]Natalia[/name_f] - do you think about nutella? I ask because I’ve recently met good few people that were saying that it’s so similar that It wouldn’t make a great name for girl. [name_f]My[/name_f] second name option would be [name_f]Olivia[/name_f].
I don’t see it at all
Me neither.
I wouldn’t have thought of that. [name_f]Natalia[/name_f] is lovely
Never, ever heard it compared to Nutella, nor have I thought it myself.
I’ve never thought about it as well so was pretty suprised so was wondering whether it’s a common way of thinking.
They have similarities but have different sounds in the middle and a different number of syllables. [name_f]Natalia[/name_f] = [name_m]Nuh[/name_m]-tal-ee-uh. Nutella = [name_m]Nuh[/name_m]-tell-uh. [name_m]Even[/name_m] if you condense the syllables in [name_f]Natalia[/name_f] so you have [name_m]Nuh[/name_m]-tal-yuh its still different. I wouldn’t worry about it. And maybe your daughter will love Nutella! Most people do. Maybe your friends have been eating a bit too much Nutella…
I have never thought this before. [name_f]Natalia[/name_f] is just fine.
Never thought if that and think it’s a lovely name. Had a friend in college who had that name and we called her [name_u]Tali[/name_u] got short.
Never thought of that. Seems like a stretch to say they are similar. It’s a beautiful name!
I’ve never thought about that connection before! And [name_f]Natalia[/name_f] is a beautiful name!
That has never crossed my mind.
I would never have made that connection but even if I did, Nutella is delicious so I don’t think it’s a bad thing.
I don’t think of that connection at all!
never thought of that connection…I think of [name_f]Natalie[/name_f] and [name_u]Christmas[/name_u] but not nutella.
Natalia is much nicer than [name_f]Olivia[/name_f]!!!
the only time i’ve ever heard that is when i heard a mother (jokingly) call her daughter Nutellia.
Never crossed my mind either.
I’ve never made that connection in my life.
I can honestly say that I have never associated those two together.
Doesn’t sound similar at all.
