Nate

From [name]Nathan[/name] or [name]Nathaniel[/name]… which is better?

[name]Nathan[/name] because [name]Nathaniel[/name] is too long. [name]Nat[/name] seems to be a better nn for [name]Nathaniel[/name], also.

[name]Nathaniel[/name]

I love this name, it’s so regal and solid sounding yet gives the cool nn [name]Nate[/name] which any boy would love to have!

[name]Nathaniel[/name]. My [name]Oscar[/name] was almost [name]Nathaniel[/name]/[name]Nate[/name] x

I love [name]Nate[/name]!! [name]Nathaniel[/name] nn [name]Nate[/name] is on my list! I don’t really care for [name]Nathan[/name] but I love [name]Nathaniel[/name] & [name]Nate[/name]! (I know, that’s wierd)

Not a big fan of [name]Nathan[/name], but I love [name]Nathaniel[/name].

Like others have said, I love [name]Nathaniel[/name] but I’m not really fond of [name]Nathan[/name]. Too close to [name]Ethan[/name], maybe? Not a fan of that one either. I also think “Nato” could be a cute nickname for [name]Nathaniel[/name] as well.

[name]Alexis[/name]

[name]Nathaniel[/name]. [name]Nathan[/name] I think or hotfogs, [name]Nathaniel[/name] I think of effortless style. [name]Nathaniel[/name] is wonderful because it doesn’t sound like it’s trying too hard but yet it still manages to be “sophisticated”.

[name]Nathaniel[/name], definitely! And I love the nickname [name]Nate[/name]

[name]Nathan[/name] is my son’s name so of course I love that. We call him Nath for short.

I love them both equally.

[name]Nathaniel[/name] is adorable. = )

[name]Nathaniel[/name], and while the long A sound technically isn’t in the name, I see nothing wrong with the nn [name]Nate[/name]. Unlike some of the other [name]Nathaniel[/name] voters, though, I don’t dislike [name]Nathan[/name] and I don’t think you can go wrong with either choice. [name]Nathaniel[/name] just sounds more elegant and sophisticated as he ages and with nn [name]Nate[/name] to balance out the sporty fun side I think this makes the best all around option.

I like [name]Nathaniel[/name] just a bit more than [name]Nathan[/name]. [name]Nathaniel[/name] is strong and I can picture on an adult and a child very well. [name]Nate[/name] is a perfectly fine nickname for it. [name]Nathan[/name] reminds me of hot-dogs

[name]Nathan[/name], because it’s short, sweet and to the point. [name]Nathaniel[/name] is too long, too dated.

[name]Nathan[/name] for sure

why does nathan remind people of hot dogs?

[name]Nathan[/name] Dogs are a brand of hot dogs… I’m vegetarian but I remember that they were the best!

I’m from NYC and in the city [name]Nathan[/name]'s Hot Dogs are regarded as the best hot dogs ever. The original [name]Nathan[/name]'s stand is in Coney Island, [name]Brooklyn[/name]. They hold an annual hot dog eating contest on [name]July[/name] 4th. They also have the best crinkle-cut french fries!

I used to know a boy called [name]Nathan[/name]. He was one of the school bullies, but he used to do my sewing for me in Home Ec. We never talked about it, he would just take it out of my hands, sew it, and then give it back to me. It was a bizarre arrangement. I don’t know where he is now. But that is what [name]Nathan[/name] makes me think of - a complex boy, good at heart.

I do prefer [name]Nathaniel[/name] though. [name]Love[/name] [name]Nate[/name].
