We are considering [name_m]William[/name_m] for our first child. [name_m]William[/name_m] is a family name and a classic, but for the middle spot we would like to use a bit more unique name, preferably a nature name.
Our favorite combo is currently [name_m]William[/name_m] [name_u]Robin[/name_u], but don’t know if its too close to [name_u]Robin[/name_u] [name_m]Williams[/name_m] . And [name_m]Felix[/name_m] isn’t really a nature name but we like the meaning.
So, which one is your favorite? I’m happy to take other suggestions too.
I love [name_m]William[/name_m], and before I read your message [name_m]William[/name_m] [name_u]Robin[/name_u] jumped out at me from your list. [name_u]Robin[/name_u] is such a sweet, sensitive name and really complements [name_m]William[/name_m]’s warm, classic feel.
Robin [name_m]Williams[/name_m] hadn’t occurred to me, but now you mention it I can see it. It’s a good association in my book, but if you feel it’s too close then [name_m]William[/name_m] [name_u]August[/name_u] would be my second choice for you. [name_u]August[/name_u] is such a handsome, majestic name, without feeling “too much”.
I really love the meaning of [name_m]Felix[/name_m] too and that’s also a fantastic combination.
William [name_m]Hawthorn[/name_m] also popped into my mind, if you like that?
I love each of these combos. It was difficult to choose just one.
My I also offer up Sewall or [name_m]Sewell[/name_m], spelling variations that mean sea wall; powerful sea. [name_m]William[/name_m] Sewall has always been one of my favourite nature name combos.
I really like [name_m]William[/name_m] [name_u]Fox[/name_u].
[name_m]William[/name_m] is fairly common, and having a unique unexpected mn makes it stand out imo!
I love all of your combinations, I really had a hard time picking. [name_m]William[/name_m] [name_u]Fox[/name_u], [name_m]William[/name_m] [name_u]August[/name_u], and [name_m]William[/name_m] [name_m]Felix[/name_m] are all so beautiful, as is [name_m]William[/name_m] [name_u]Robin[/name_u].
What about [name_m]William[/name_m] [name_u]Rowan[/name_u]? Similar sound to [name_m]William[/name_m] [name_u]Robin[/name_u] but without the [name_u]Robin[/name_u] [name_m]Williams[/name_m] soundalike. Or [name_m]William[/name_m] [name_u]Cedar[/name_u]?
Thank you guys! This was really helpful. I really like the suggestions [name_m]William[/name_m] [name_u]Frost[/name_u], [name_m]William[/name_m] [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] and [name_m]William[/name_m] [name_u]Finch[/name_u].
