I like [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] [name_f]Susannah[/name_f], more ideally if your last name is one syllable. The 3 syllable first and middle name can sometimes not flow the best. I also like the idea of [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f] as it fits perfect with the southern and nature theme, but it is also three syllables.
Thanks sarah1800! For some reason the running together a little bit doesn’t bother me too much either. I do like your suggestions of [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] and [name_f]Iris[/name_f] though. Hmm…I like [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] a lot. The harsher ‘h’ sound and the long A make for a nice contrast with [name_u]Eloise[/name_u]. And I like [name_u]Wren[/name_u] but that’s already in use in our family.
Thanks for your input!
Thanks aerovis! Our last name is one syllable, actually! You’re right, a different number of syllables with the first and middle name might help break it up more.
[name_f]Magnolia[/name_f] is an excellent idea, but it is big sister’s first name! And it is the reason we’d like a nature/Southern name to go with [name_u]Eloise[/name_u].
I’ve never been too big on [name_u]Sage[/name_u] but I do like it in the middle here with [name_u]Eloise[/name_u]…and [name_f]Blossom[/name_f] is really cute!
Thanks for your ideas!
Thanks knnames! [name_f]Savannah[/name_f] does seem to sound a bit better than [name_f]Susannah[/name_f]. But I still like [name_f]Susannah[/name_f] more…hmmm…
I also like your suggestions of [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] and [name_u]Sawyer[/name_u] - thank you!
knnames suggested [name_f]Savannah[/name_f] and I like it but to me it is too closely associated with the city in [name_f]Georgia[/name_f]. I’m sure it is a lovely city but I personally have no connections to it so it feels weird for me to use it. Thanks though!
Thanks legallybrunette! I do like [name_f]Ivy[/name_f]! And thanks for your additional suggestions. [name_f]Summer[/name_f] sounds fresh to me in the middle spot and could be just what we need for this summer baby!
