I’ve been crushing on [name]Wanda[/name] so hard. [name]Glenda[/name] or [name]Glinda[/name] have the same sort of shimmery yet clunky quality that I am gravitating toward!
[name]Clorinda[/name], [name]Clarinda[/name], [name]Dorinda[/name], [name]Rhonda[/name], [name]Yolanda[/name], [name]Fernanda[/name], [name]Jacinda[/name], [name]Miranda[/name] and [name]Lucinda[/name] are some of my favourite “-nda” names. I don’t mind [name]Glenda[/name]/[name]Glinda[/name] but the the remaining names are not ready for rediscovery in my opinion. I think [name]Belinda[/name], [name]Melinda[/name] and [name]Rosalinda[/name] are preferable to just [name]Linda[/name].
Oh I wasn’t even thinking of the longer/softer/more lyrical ones! I always liked [name]Amanda[/name]…but like [name]Sarah[/name] & [name]Amy[/name] they’re kind of overused 90’s classics right now!
I like a lot of -nda names too. Let me tell you all the ones I know:
Abrienda – opening
Alanda – little harmony
Alinda – noble
[name]Belinda[/name] – beautiful snake
[name]Bionda[/name] – black
[name]Calinda[/name] – lark
[name]Chanda[/name] – sincere wish
Kainda – daughter of the hunter
[name]Kenda[/name] – high summit
Merinda – beautiful
Rosenda – famed path
Rosinda – famous warrior
[name]Vanda[/name] – braid
Venda – filled
Winda – hunt – I think this could be a great alternative to [name]Wanda[/name]
Zarahlinda – of the beautiful dawn
Zonda – a pass in the Andes
[name]Love[/name] all three of the ones you mentioned first. [name]Glinda[/name] of course is the sparkliest because she’s the good witch ! [name]Linda[/name] and [name]Brenda[/name] sound blah and dated, [name]Edna[/name] I like in a crusty mean old lady way but it’s not a -nda name.
