Ned and Annabeth

I have started to like the the names Ned and Annabeth. Neither are on my top list, but Ned will probably replace Colton.
I also can’t find any nicknames I like for Annabeth! Annie isn’t bad, and I don’t like Beth. What do you think of these names? Last year, Ned wasn’t ranked and Annabeth isn’t even on Nameberry!

I love Annabeth!! It’s on my list too. I don’t love [name]Ned[/name] but its not bad, and I def prefer it to [name]Colton[/name]. [name]Annie[/name] is a cute nn. I don’t like [name]Beth[/name] either. [name]How[/name] about just [name]Anna[/name] as a nn?

I love Annabeth - it sounds sweet and vintage! I think [name]Ned[/name] is a strong and masculine name. I like it as a stand-alone name as well as a nn for [name]Edmund[/name], [name]Edward[/name] etc… If parents are choosing just [name]Jack[/name], [name]Sam[/name] and [name]Max[/name] for their sons, why not [name]Ned[/name]?

Annabeth is one of my top names and I absolutely love it! It really is a shame that it’s not on nameberry, but I think appellationmountain.net just did a post on the name Annabeth. I’ve always loved the nickname [name]Annie[/name] for Annabeth, and if I every had my own Annabeth that’s probably what I would call her. [name]Ann[/name], [name]Annie[/name], [name]Anna[/name], [name]Beth[/name], A.B., B, [name]Bea[/name]… I can’t think of anymore off the top of my head, but I’m sure there are plenty. I think any girl would be lucky to be named Annabeth.

I can’t offer a good opinion on [name]Ned[/name] because I knew this awful boy when I was younger named [name]Ned[/name].

[name]Ned[/name] is fine. I like all ‘[name]Anna[/name]’ names so I do like Annabeth. You could call her [name]Ann[/name] or [name]Anna[/name] :).

I dislike [name]Ned[/name] and find it boring. But I love Annabeth! Nameberry should really put it on their site! Anyway, nn’s can be [name]Annie[/name], [name]Anne[/name]/[name]Ann[/name], [name]Beth[/name], etc.
