Help!!! Due with a baby boy soon who will be 13 months younger than his sister, [name]Lucy[/name] [name]Rachel[/name]. My husband and I can’t seem to find ANYTHING that makes us go “that’s the one!”.
Here’s what I’m looking for: strong, classic, NOT TOO POPULAR, not too trendy, max of six letters, no nick name (that’s a preference, not a requirement) and flows nicely with [name]Lucy[/name] and a last name that begins with the letter “M”. My name is [name]Sarah[/name] and my DH’s name is [name]Seth[/name].
Our current number one is [name]Aaron[/name] [name]Joseph[/name] (which we both do like) and [name]Reid[/name] [name]Joseph[/name] (feeling more and more “ehhhh” about [name]Reid[/name] every day. The names that are 100% out of the running for one reason or another are [name]Henry[/name], [name]Adam[/name], [name]Gregory[/name], [name]Scott[/name], [name]Jeffrey[/name] and [name]Thomas[/name].
So…anyone have any good suggestions? Thoughts on [name]Aaron[/name] and [name]Reid[/name]? I feel like there’s got to be a name that I haven’t thought of goes well with [name]Lucy[/name] and meets with we are looking for in a boys name. [name]Joseph[/name] doesn’t have to be the middle name but will likely be cause it’s a special family name. HELP!!!
[name]Aaron[/name] is nice. The only problem I have with it is that when I hear it spoken I never know if it is a boy or girl. I know so many girl Erins.
I like the name [name]Reid[/name].
My favorite on your list is [name]Lucy[/name] and [name]Elliott[/name]. Compared to [name]Lucy[/name], [name]Ian[/name] and [name]Aaron[/name] seem dated to me. [name]Lucy[/name] and [name]Reid[/name] are fine together, but they’re not amazing.
I love [name]Lucy[/name] and [name]James[/name], what do you think?
I like [name]Elliot[/name] and [name]Ian[/name].
more suggestions
[name]Troy[/name]
[name]Dane[/name]
[name]Brent[/name]
[name]Ross[/name]
[name]Clay[/name]
[name]Garret[/name]
[name]Owen[/name] [name]Joseph[/name]
[name]Jack[/name] [name]Joseph[/name]- [name]Do[/name] you mind double letters?
[name]Peter[/name] [name]Joseph[/name]
[name]John[/name] [name]Joseph[/name]- Again double J
[name]Ian[/name] ? [name]Joseph[/name]
[name]Cole[/name] [name]Joseph[/name]
[name]Luke[/name] [name]Joseph[/name]
[name]Daniel[/name] [name]Joseph[/name]
[name]Louis[/name] [name]Joseph[/name]
[name]Patrick[/name] [name]Joseph[/name]- [name]Patrick[/name] has seven letters but if it isn’t too much of a problem I think it would be nice
[name]Nathan[/name] [name]Joseph[/name]
[name]Tate[/name] [name]Joseph[/name]
[name]Oliver[/name] [name]Joseph[/name]- SO cute with [name]Lucy[/name]!
[name]Jacob[/name] [name]Joseph[/name] - Again, not sure if you mind the double initials
[name]Samson[/name] or [name]Samuel[/name] [name]Joseph[/name]
[name]Rhys[/name] [name]Joseph[/name]- (Welsh spelling I believe) or [name]Reece[/name]/ [name]Reese[/name]
[name]Milo[/name] [name]Joseph[/name]
[name]Brian[/name] [name]Joseph[/name]- So classic!
[name]Max[/name] [name]Joseph[/name]- Or [name]Maxwell[/name], still following the 6 letter idea
[name]Andrew[/name] [name]Joseph[/name]
[name]Emmet[/name] [name]Joseph[/name]
[name]Quinn[/name] [name]Joesph[/name]
[name]Finnian[/name] [name]Joseph[/name]
[name]Kyle[/name] [name]Joseph[/name]
[name]Charlie[/name] [name]Joseph[/name]
[name]Lucy[/name] and [name]Jack[/name] seems to be an obvious choice. Simple, and stylish together.
[name]Lucy[/name] and [name]Elliot[/name] also work due to slight offbeat style. [name]Oliver[/name] also works.
[name]Do[/name] you like [name]Felix[/name]? I think [name]Felix[/name] and [name]Lucy[/name] sound gorgeous together! [name]Both[/name] are fairly classic with a bit of spunk to both of them! It also means “happy”, which is something you’d want your little boy to be Other names I think go well with [name]Lucy[/name] (without being too obvious, thats so boring :p):
[name]Lucy[/name] and…
[name]Oscar[/name]
[name]Max[/name]/[name]Maxwell[/name]
[name]Gabriel[/name]
[name]Sebastian[/name]
[name]Alexander[/name]
[name]James[/name] (so many great nicknames!)
[name]William[/name]
[name]Charles[/name]
Of your newest list, I like [name]Elliot[/name] the best. My adorable niece and nephew are named [name]Lucy[/name] and [name]Simon[/name], and I think they’re just so cute together. People comment all the time about how well their names go, but since your name and your husband’s start with S, I can see if you don’t want to go that way.
thanks so much for all the suggestions everyone, i really appreciate it!!! you’ve given me lots to think about. i love so many of the names you mentioned, the problem is with my DH. he’s hard to play the name game with, lots of vetos and we can’t seem to get on the same page. we didn’t have these issues with our daughter, i LOVED lucy and he was cool with it so lucy it was.
his leader is still aaron and liam is growing strong on me. hopefully we’ll come to a decision in the next few weeks.
what do you all think of [name]Lucy[/name] [name]Rachel[/name] and [name]Liam[/name] [name]Joseph[/name] as a sib set?
[name]Lucy[/name] and [name]Jack[/name] sound soooo cute together! I know someone whose son is named [name]Jonathan[/name] [name]Patrick[/name] but they call him [name]Jack[/name] - so cute!
[name]Lucy[/name] [name]Rachel[/name] and [name]Max[/name] [name]Alexander[/name]
[name]Lucy[/name] [name]Rachel[/name] and [name]Mason[/name] [name]Anthony[/name]
[name]Lucy[/name] [name]Rachel[/name] and [name]Noah[/name] [name]Benjamin[/name]
