Still struggling to find a perfect boy name. We know we would like to use [name_m]Pierce[/name_m] or [name_m]Pierson[/name_m] in the name (wherever it fits best) but we do not want to call the baby that.
We have no clue what to put with it! I like name that are Anglo-[name_m]Saxon[/name_m] in origin and our last name is two syllables.
The other family name we have considered is [name_m]Lawson[/name_m]. Potentially [name_m]Lawson[/name_m] [name_m]Pierce[/name_m]. I’m not opposed but I just don’t feel like it is THE name.
I love all of our other kiddo’s names so much and I want to feel the same way about this name as well!
Siblings are [name_m]Stafford[/name_m], [name_u]Reed[/name_u] & [name_u]Kelsey[/name_u].
Would love suggestions!! We like things that are not super popular but aren’t totally out there.
I like the above names with your childrens’ and with either [name_m]Pierce[/name_m] or [name_m]Pierson[/name_m]… just not too sure how they would fit in with your last name. They are Anglo [name_m]Saxon[/name_m] in origin, not too sure how popular they are or if you consider them too out there.
[name_m]Conrad[/name_m]
[name_m]Graham[/name_m]-I’ve always loved this. [name_m]Pierson[/name_m] [name_m]Graham[/name_m] would be pretty!
[name_m]Warren[/name_m]
[name_m]Colin[/name_m]
[name_u]Abbott[/name_u]
[name_m]Callahan[/name_m]
[name_u]Walker[/name_u]-this is my sister’s little boy. We had to draw straws to see who would get [name_u]Walker[/name_u] and who would get [name_m]Stafford[/name_m]!
[name_m]Bryant[/name_m]
[name_u]Adair[/name_u]-my sister is using this for her girl!
[name_m]Ewan[/name_m]
Maybe I need to stick with [name_m]Lawson[/name_m].
We also have [name_m]Anderson[/name_m], and [name_m]Granville[/name_m] as family names. I wonder if I could use [name_m]Granville[/name_m] and cal him something else.
I love [name_m]Merrick[/name_m]. If you like [name_m]Merrick[/name_m], there is also [name_u]Merritt[/name_u]/Merit. A surname on another thread that is great is [name_m]Jennings[/name_m]. Another one that I love that is unique is [name_m]Kipling[/name_m], possible nn [name_m]Kip[/name_m]. I also like Rhodes!
I think you could use [name_m]Granville[/name_m] and call him [name_m]Grant[/name_m].
[name_u]Merritt[/name_u] has been MY front runner this whole time and then my sister talked me out of it! I think [name_u]Merritt[/name_u] [name_m]Pierce[/name_m] is awesome and I think it goes so well with the other kids.
And I like [name_m]Rhodes[/name_m] and well. And [name_m]Brooks[/name_m]. But my husband isn’t a fan.
I love [name_u]Merritt[/name_u] [name_m]Pierce[/name_m]! And the meaning “moral worth or deserving or praise or distinction” of the same sounding “merit” is awesome. Why did your sister talk you out of it? I also love [name_m]Pierson[/name_m] [name_m]Graham[/name_m] potential nn [name_m]Piers[/name_m] and if you like [name_m]Holden[/name_m], [name_m]Holden[/name_m] [name_m]Pierce[/name_m]. I love all three if these more than [name_m]Lawson[/name_m]. I like [name_m]Lawson[/name_m] a lot but it doesn’t have quite the sophistication (without being over the top) for me that I feel your other names have.
I think because it’s a family name. It also means “son of [name_u]Lawrence[/name_u]” and my name is [name_f]Laura[/name_f] so we thought that was kind of cool. Dad’s name is [name_m]Peter[/name_m] hence the [name_m]Pierce[/name_m]/[name_m]Pierson[/name_m].
Maybe we aren’t tied to [name_m]Pierce[/name_m].
We could use [name_m]Lawson[/name_m], [name_m]Donovan[/name_m], [name_m]Anderson[/name_m] or [name_m]Granville[/name_m] as a middle and then go for something else as a first. I was just feel good that we had picked at least one name. Haha!
Oh I do love the meaning of [name_m]Lawson[/name_m] with your name [name_f]Laura[/name_f] - that definitely is a big bonus for [name_m]Lawson[/name_m]!
