Need a girl name to go w/ Jack, August & Henry

Not due until [name]October[/name] but boy names are set, my husband and I agree on [name]Jack[/name], [name]August[/name] & [name]Henry[/name] for boys. However, we can NOT commit to (or really even agree on) girl names! I don’t feel the need to find the one, but would like to take 3-4 names to the hospital for each sex.

What we have so far…
DH’s fave:

Names we are both ok with:
[name]Miriam[/name] (nn [name]Mim[/name])

My faves:
[name]Elouise[/name] (nn [name]Lula[/name])

I am open to any & all new suggestions or opinions on what we already have! Since the boy names are the “for sures”, are there any names/styles for the girls that we are missing that sound like potential sisters?

Thank you berries!

I really like [name]Cleo[/name] and [name]Beatrix[/name] with the boys names you already have picked out. I would like [name]Elouise[/name] if it were spelled [name]Eloise[/name].

I love [name]Ruby[/name], [name]Cleo[/name], and [name]Eloise[/name]

I’m getting a 1920s/30s feel from your names
[name]Bette[/name]- can be pronounced “[name]Betty[/name]” or “[name]Bet[/name]”

[name]Clara[/name]! I read [name]Jack[/name], [name]August[/name], and [name]Henry[/name] and automatically thought of [name]Clara[/name]. [name]Claire[/name] would work too. Other ideas:

The first name that came to mind for me was [name]Eliza[/name]. She would go wonderfully with [name]Jack[/name], [name]Henry[/name] and [name]August[/name].

What about [name]Dorothy[/name] nn [name]Dottie[/name]?

[name]Ruby[/name] sounds just exactly like one of the bunch you’ve got going. In my mind it is perfect. Has the same weight, balance and feel to me. Other thought for me would be [name]Mary[/name].

Thank you so much, I really love a lot of these names. It’s so hard to narrow down!! Esp love [name]Thea[/name], [name]Eleanor[/name], [name]Matilda[/name], [name]Etta[/name], & [name]Georgia[/name]!!!

[name]Love[/name] ruby. And I think the nickname rue with it is to die for. I have a boy named jack and we are seriously considering [name]Eleanor[/name] for his soon to be baby sis. Also love [name]Thea[/name].

[name]Love[/name] [name]Ruby[/name]! Not a fan of the other ones…I really hate [name]Clara[/name]…all I can think of is clarabelle cow ii just don’t like claire or clara! [name]Cleo[/name] is cute though too

[name]Ruby[/name] - I love [name]Ruby[/name], very pretty!

[name]Cleo[/name] - [name]Cleo[/name] is so so so pretty!!
[name]Miriam[/name] - I personally don’t like miriam as its the name of an old women I used to work with

My faves:
[name]Elouise[/name] (nn [name]Lula[/name]) - I love [name]Elouise[/name]! so very pretty, I personally prefer [name]Ella[/name] as a nn, but its absolutely beautiful
[name]Beatrix[/name] - not on of my favorites, but it seems fairly popular now days
[name]Dottie[/name] - dottie is a common nick name for [name]Dorothy[/name], but I’ve never heard it as a full name? Not quite sure about this one!

Here are some of my suggestions from the names you like;

Well we gave in and found out that we are expecting a baby girl! I could not be more thrilled, but still very unsure of names. My husband & I had a talk this morning and decided to try out [name]Etta[/name] [name]Grace[/name] for awhile (of course with not telling family, I had to run it by nameberry!) I just find myself having a really hard time commiting to anything…

So what are thoughts on [name]Etta[/name] [name]Grace[/name]?

[name]Love[/name] [name]Jack[/name], [name]August[/name] and [name]Henry[/name] for boys! My first thought was [name]Rose[/name]. But then I thought of the Titanic,…

[name]Etta[/name] [name]Grace[/name]. It has a vintage feel to it. And I actually like it a lot. We have [name]Esta[/name] and [name]Avis[/name] on our list. Also [name]Veda[/name] and [name]Alma[/name] wich I adore, [name]Etta[/name] would fit right in.

As I thought of [name]Rose[/name] first I would like to suggest [name]Rosetta[/name] [name]Grace[/name] nn [name]Etta[/name]/[name]Rose[/name]. I also like [name]Edith[/name] [name]Grace[/name] nn [name]Ida[/name]. ([name]Ida[/name] = ee dah in Scandenavia) (Not i dah) So maybe nn [name]Eda[/name] would be better.

But [name]Etta[/name] [name]Grace[/name] is lovely!

I think we have a similar style with names. [name]Eloise[/name], and all it’s spellings, is my absolute favorite name. [name]Etta[/name] [name]Grace[/name] is really sweet and charming. I only have one suggestion, [name]Lottie[/name]. I think everything else has been named. Good luck!

[name]Eloise[/name] (not spelled [name]Elouise[/name]) is my pick from your list, nn [name]Ellie[/name].

[name]Love[/name] [name]Etta[/name] [name]Grace[/name]. It’s very feminine but has the spunk/strength to fit in with the boys

First of all, [name]August[/name], [name]Jack[/name] and [name]Henry[/name] are absolutely fabulous (: They’re 3 of my favourites ever! As for girls, my favourites from your list are [name]Ruby[/name], [name]Dottie[/name] and [name]Beatrix[/name]. I’m not keen on the others, but I do love [name]Lula[/name] and [name]Mim[/name] as nicknames (my choices for longer names would have been [name]Tallulah[/name] and [name]Jemima[/name]). What about…

[name]Etta[/name] [name]Grace[/name] is very pretty, although I can’t help thinking ‘[name]Etta[/name] [name]James[/name]’, which isn’t a bad thing whatsoever, they just have the same ring!
