We have a 1 year old son named [name_u]Everett[/name_u] [name_m]Lincoln[/name_m]. I love that his name is approachable, recognizable, and understandable but not common. My husband had a dream last night that we has a daughter (I’m not pregnant, but we have started planning when we would feel comfortable starting the process again) and in the dream we didn’t have a name and the hospital was demanding a name…it was stressful. Since then, we’ve started talking girls names.
I like older names that are recognizable but uncommon, and my hubs has no discernable style of name that he prefers. Lol.
I like [name_f]Lucy[/name_f], [name_u]June[/name_u], [name_f]Felicity[/name_f], [name_f]Alice[/name_f] and [name_u]Austen[/name_u]. He’s not a big fan of any of those.
Any suggestions?
My first thought was [name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_f]Emie[/name_f] (that’s just my preferred spelling - could be [name_f]Emmy[/name_f] or [name_f]Emmie[/name_f]). I love the way it pairs with [name_u]Everett[/name_u] [name_m]Lincoln[/name_m]; both are unique, a little spunky, but totally recognizable.
I love [name_f]Margot[/name_f] and actually mentioned it. My husband has a less-than-friendly cousin bearing that name. Apparently it’s off the table.
