Need a name for a nickname

I’m not in a position to be having a child just yet, but I know that when/if I do have a girl, I’d like to be able to name her after one or other of my grandmothers. Their nicknames (by which they were most often called) were [name_f]Nellie[/name_f] and [name_f]Maisie[/name_f]. Other than the obvious [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]/[name_f]Fenella[/name_f] and [name_f]Mary[/name_f], what are some interesting names that could result in these nns?
Thanks  x

[name_f]Nellie[/name_f] is most heard for [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] and [name_f]Maisie[/name_f] for [name_f]Margaret[/name_f], but other than that:

[name_f]Nell[/name_f] (just [name_f]Nell[/name_f])
[name_f]Helen[/name_f]
[name_f]Ellen[/name_f]

[name_f]Marjorie[/name_f]
[name_f]Marguerite[/name_f]
[name_f]Margot[/name_f]
[name_f]Meghan[/name_f]

or just use them standalone?

[name_f]Margaret[/name_f] for [name_f]Maisie[/name_f], or check here: Maisie Nickname? | BabyCenter

[name_f]Janelle[/name_f], [name_f]Helen[/name_f], [name_f]Ellen[/name_f], [name_f]Petronella[/name_f], [name_f]Chanelle[/name_f] and [name_f]Cornelia[/name_f] for [name_f]Nellie[/name_f]

Thank you! I like [name_f]Cornelia[/name_f]… I guess I like over-complicated names, and I feel like if I used them stand-alone they’re not names that would be taken very seriously. My mum always used to say, about names like that, “she’ll never be prime minister!” :stuck_out_tongue:
