I’m working on a detective story where the main character, [name]Charles[/name] (who is the detective) has a partner. She’s fiesty, stubborn and at times very intense. She has blonde hair, brown eyes, a wide smile, tall stature, long legs, that sort of thing. She’s basically what [name]Watson[/name] is to [name]Sherlock[/name], except more forward. I was thinking about the name [name]Wynn[/name], (which is a favorite of mine) but I’m unsure. I would love to hear some suggestions! Her last name is [name]Dunn[/name], but feel free to suggest surnames as well.
Hm. My suggestions: [name]Juliet[/name], [name]Bea[/name], [name]Liza[/name], [name]Penelope[/name], [name]Taylor[/name], [name]Leila[/name], [name]Mae[/name], [name]Clare[/name], [name]Livia[/name]/[name]Liv[/name], [name]Nora[/name], [name]Jess[/name]
[name]Love[/name] [name]Bea[/name], [name]Penelope[/name] ([name]Penny[/name]!), [name]Livia[/name]/[name]Liv[/name], [name]Nora[/name] and [name]Jess[/name]. I like [name]Clare[/name] as well but that’s the name of my sister (spelled differently). Thanks for your suggestions!
I really like [name]Wynn[/name]. It brings to mind her tall, willowy stature to me. It has a soft sound, but it’s brevity keeps it a little spunky. I don’t like it so much with the last name [name]Dunn[/name] though. I don’t have another suggestion for a last name, but I say stick with [name]Wynn[/name]!
I love [name]Wynn[/name]! I don’t so much like the flow of [name]Wynn[/name] [name]Dunn[/name], though, unfortunately. Perhaps something like [name]Wynn[/name] Dunmore of [name]Winifred[/name] [name]Dun[/name] (with [name]Win[/name] or [name]Wynn[/name] as a nickname) would flow better?
Other suggestions …
[name]Noa[/name]
[name]Bridget[/name]
[name]Ray[/name]
[name]Jane[/name]
[name]Nadia[/name]
[name]Fiona[/name] ([name]Fin[/name] or [name]Finn[/name]?)
[name]Erin[/name]
[name]Lena[/name]
[name]Fia[/name]
[name]Ginny[/name] (Lots of full name possibilities if you prefer it as a nickname - [name]Virginia[/name]? [name]Geneva[/name]? [name]Ginevra[/name]?)
[name]Rena[/name]
[name]Liora[/name]
[name]Lark[/name] / [name]Larkin[/name]
I also like the idea of [name]Penelope[/name] [name]Dunn[/name] with [name]Penn[/name] or [name]Pen[/name] as a nickname.
Thanks for the suggestions! I like the sound of [name]Wynn[/name] Dunmore better than [name]Dunn[/name] (I’m not very good at coming up with last names :P) I think I’ll be sticking with [name]Wynn[/name] but I have jotted [name]Nora[/name], [name]Penelope[/name] and [name]Larkin[/name] for other characters. Thanks once again, guys.
