Need a name for my 3rd Daughter!!!

I have two girls already:
[name]Ella[/name] [name]Katherine[/name]
[name]Audrey[/name] [name]Rose[/name]

Looking for feedback on the following:

[name]Genevieve[/name] [name]Anne[/name] (i’m afraid of nn, I like [name]Evie[/name] but not [name]Genny[/name], [name]Gen[/name] is alright) Worried my other girls will call her genny if we don’t shorten right away…Whatcha think?

[name]Gretta[/name] [name]Anne[/name]

[name]Lana[/name] [name]Anne[/name]

[name]Anne[/name] is likely going to be the middle name, but not definite.

I tend to go for more classic vintage names, as you can see from above. Nothing too popular or trendy. I like the shorter names but both my hubby and I like [name]Genevieve[/name] as well…Would love any suggestions. Coming up with a third girl name is SO hard!!!

I like [name]Genevieve[/name] the best, but I think [name]Genni[/name] - this is how my friend [name]Genevieve[/name] spells it - is a real concern.

I like your vowel theme, too, with [name]Ella[/name] and [name]Audrey[/name]! Have you considered [name]Iris[/name] or [name]Isla[/name]? [name]Isla[/name] is a bit close to [name]Ella[/name], but I love [name]Iris[/name] with [name]Ella[/name] and [name]Audrey[/name] - then you don’t have to worry about nicknames ([name]Ella[/name] and [name]Audrey[/name] probably don’t have real nickname problems, either).

What about [name]Iris[/name] [name]Anne[/name], [name]Iris[/name] [name]Annabel[/name], [name]Iris[/name] [name]Anneliese[/name], or [name]Iris[/name] [name]Annora[/name]?

Good luck!

[name]Lemon[/name]

[name]Hi[/name]! I love [name]Genevieve[/name] and [name]Anne[/name] so much! If you introduce [name]Genevieve[/name] as “[name]Evie[/name],” people should call her [name]Evie[/name], not [name]Genny[/name]. (If someone introduced herself to me as [name]Evie[/name], I’d call her [name]Evie[/name], not [name]Genny[/name].) I know of a little [name]Genevieve[/name] who goes by [name]Genevieve[/name] and [name]Gigi[/name], never [name]Genny[/name]. It’s impossible to predict what nicknames people will choose though, so if this is an issue for you, what about [name]Anna[/name] [name]Genevieve[/name] instead of [name]Genevieve[/name] [name]Anne[/name]?

[name]Greta[/name] [name]Anne[/name]: I love both names, but I think a first name that doesn’t end in A would flow better with [name]Anne[/name]. That’s just me, though.

[name]Lana[/name] [name]Anne[/name]: I like [name]Greta[/name] better than [name]Lana[/name] with [name]Anne[/name] because [name]Lana[/name] ends with “ana,” which is really close to [name]Anne[/name] to me. [name]Greta[/name] also seems closer to the style of [name]Ella[/name] and [name]Audrey[/name] than [name]Lana[/name] does to me.

Some more you may like:

[name]Abigail[/name] [name]Anne[/name] ([name]Abigail[/name] is #8, which is more popular than [name]Ella[/name], which is #19, so it’s probably too popular for you…)
[name]Margaret[/name] [name]Anne[/name]
[name]Margot[/name] [name]Anne[/name]
[name]Scarlett[/name] [name]Anne[/name]
[name]Violet[/name] [name]Anne[/name]

Oh, and [name]Lucy[/name]!

I love how longer names like [name]Genevieve[/name], [name]Abigail[/name], and [name]Margaret[/name] sound with [name]Anne[/name].

Not the best with [name]Anne[/name]/In case you don’t use [name]Anne[/name] in the middle:

[name]Caroline[/name] (the N ending sounds of [name]Caroline[/name] and [name]Anne[/name] may not be an issue for you, though…)
[name]Charlotte[/name] (because [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Anne[/name] sounds like the word “charlatan” to me)

Good luck!

[name]Love[/name] [name]Genevieve[/name] but i understand the concern for nn genny. [name]Do[/name] you like the nn nev or gigi? My daughter has a friend named [name]Genevieve[/name] and we never call her anything but that. [name]Lana[/name] and [name]Gretta[/name] are ok but they dont fit as well with your daughters names. I really love Lemons suggestion of [name]Iris[/name] [name]Anabelle[/name]!

I love [name]Genevieve[/name] too! I agree with pp that you can probably shorten the name without having to use [name]Genny[/name] ([name]Love[/name] the suggestion of [name]Gigi[/name].) However, here are some other suggestions:

Good [name]Luck[/name]!

I like [name]Greta[/name] with your daughters’ names. Another name that came to mind is [name]Claudia[/name]–it would go so nicely with [name]Ella[/name] and [name]Audrey[/name].

I love [name]Gretta[/name] - its one of my favourites!

Another suggestion as a nn for [name]Genevieve[/name] is [name]Genna[/name] one of my friends called [name]Jenifer[/name] also doesn’t like [name]Jenny[/name] as a nn so insists everyone calls he [name]Jenna[/name].
