Need a name....for my mandolin

So I believe that naming an instrument is a fine art.
They have to have a reason though or at least a theme.

(i.e. my cars have been [name_f]Millie[/name_f] (got her in 2000–Millenium), [name_f]Tillie[/name_f] (just till it puttered out), and [name_u]Gus[/name_u] (Prius that’s no gas guzzler))

DH names his after writers. [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] Aquinas, [name_m]Aristotle[/name_m], [name_m]Socrates[/name_m]

[name_f]My[/name_f] acoustic guitar is [name_f]Livy[/name_f].

We just got a lovely mandolin for [name_u]Christmas[/name_u] and it still needs a name!
She will be a shared instrument (me, my DH, and my father).

And something makes me think she needs a girly name. None of my actual favorites seem to fit.
[name_f]Cynthia[/name_f] has the right feel, but it’s not quite right.

Literary or mando themed or just girly suggestions in the same vein as [name_f]Cynthia[/name_f].

Names similar in vibe to [name_f]Cynthia[/name_f] for your mandolin:

[name_f]Marjorie[/name_f], [name_u]Cassidy[/name_u], [name_f]Melanie[/name_f], [name_f]Dorothy[/name_f], [name_u]Penny[/name_u], [name_f]Penelope[/name_f], [name_f]Mindy[/name_f], [name_f]Celeste[/name_f], [name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f]

Hmm, what about [name_f]Jacynthe[/name_f]? Not sure what the correct spelling in English is… [name_f]Jacinth[/name_f]?

[name_m]How[/name_m] about [name_f]Hyacinth[/name_f]? [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f]? [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f]? [name_f]Thea[/name_f]?

This has me inspired! I want to name my guitar! First problem, girls name or a boys name? Hmmmm.

Gwendolyn is a good idea.
I’ll have to think about that one.
I like Mindy as well.

I like the idea of Jacinth, but it always feels incomplete to me. Probably because I have a cousin named Cynthia so I always want to say Jacinth…ia

oo, and I kinda like Cordelia as well. But is that too pun-y? Like, strumming chords on Cordelia.

Thanks for your responses!

Most instruments feel more feminine to me, though DH’s bass is definitely a boy
