Emma is my favorite out of your picks. If you’re worried about popularity, you can give her a more formal name and call her Emma at home. Emmaline/Emmalyn, Emmalina/Emelina, Emilia, and Emerson all can be shortened to Emma and none are outrageously popular. Emilia is somewhat popular, but most people spell it Amelia.
I also really like Scarlet (though I’d spell it Scarlette). Lena is my third choice. I never, ever would have made the “anal” connection, but if that bothers you, have you thought about naming her Elena and calling her Lena? I think it would be better than spelling it Leena.
I don’t know a single London, but the name is starting to grow on me after hearing it on here so often. It would be my next choice.
My recommendation is [name]Violet[/name] [name]Emma[/name].
[name]Violet[/name] gets my vote, [name]Hazel[/name] probably second
[name]Jolie[/name] is sweet (like [name]Jolene[/name]?)
[name]Georgia[/name]
[name]Margo[/name] ([name]Margaux[/name])
[name]Lina[/name] sounds like [name]Leena[/name] so any [name]Halina[/name], [name]Angelina[/name], [name]Rosalie[/name]
[name]Clementine[/name]
[name]Cora[/name]
jubilee
[name]Athena[/name]
[name]Lennox[/name]
Good luck!
Out of interest, have you read it? I’ve never seen the film but ‘Gone With the Wind’ is one of the best books I’ve ever read. [name]Scarlett[/name] is a bit annoying at times (mainly the start) but her character develops so much over the course of the novel. Yes, she may be a little rude but she’s also brilliant at figures, an excellent entrepreneur, brave, resourceful and daring.
And definitely not slutty or trampy at all!
Forgot to say. Scarlett, Hazel and Violet are my favourites : ) I don’t think you can go wrong with any of them. Also, I adore Cassius/Cash ![]()
I like [name]Violet[/name] the best from your list. If you find yourself warming up to [name]Scarlet[/name] again though, I would choose that because your partner loves it so much. I also agree with the pp that if I saw [name]Lina[/name] on its own I would pronounce it [name]Leena[/name], so that is another option.
Others that came to mind based on what you like:
[name]Thalia[/name]
[name]Celine[/name]
[name]Linden[/name]
[name]Clio[/name]
[name]Acacia[/name]
I voted for [name]London[/name] because I think it goes the best with [name]Cassius[/name] “[name]Cash[/name]”.
Wow, you’re good! Several of these have been on my top baby list for months! Like [name]Lennox[/name] and jubilee… So random and yet there they are! Unfortunately the man does not share my passion for these names
I looove [name]Jolie[/name], but I’d be so worried she’d be associated with [name]Angelina[/name] [name]Jolie[/name].
[name]Lina[/name] is a prettier spelling for sure
the two eyes was kind of bothering me!
I love that everyone likes [name]Violet[/name]! I have a definite soft spot for it! I also really like the spelling [name]Violette[/name]. I’m worried it may cause her problems down the road, but my step father is French and all of his family is too so it could be a nice nod to them.
Oh [name]Linden[/name] is very cool! I hadn’t considered that! I’ve seen it in a boy but I could see that working! I love the name [name]Thalia[/name] but apparently SO isn’t big on it ![]()
First of all, Brii, I just want to say that I completely relate to not liking your first name! My mother chose my name because my grandmother vetoed her top choice. She said [name]Danielle[/name] was “the first thing that popped into my head”… There’s really no other rhyme or reason for it. I don’t want my future kids to feel like their name is meaningless or random, either, so I encourage you to go with what you love!!
[name]Cash[/name] is pretty darn cute. [name]Cassius[/name] [name]David[/name] is equal parts whimsical and solid; do you want the same sort of feeling for your daughter’s name?
Because [name]Hazel[/name] and [name]Violet[/name] are on my own short list for girls, they get my top vote! However, I think [name]Violet[/name] sounds better with [name]Cassius[/name], and [name]Cash[/name] and [name]Vi[/name] or [name]Vivi[/name] or [name]Letti[/name] sound wicked cute together. What about [name]Violet[/name] [name]Emma[/name]? It has the same balance of whimsical sweetness and solidity that brother’s name has.
Other suggestions that sound good with [name]Cassius[/name] “[name]Cash[/name]” [name]IMO[/name]:
[name]Annora[/name]
[name]Brighton[/name] (another fab city in jolly old [name]England[/name])
[name]Gemma[/name] (if you’re not sold on [name]Emma[/name] completely)
[name]Juno[/name] (an alternative to [name]Jolie[/name] that is still quirky yet steeped in mythology)
[name]Charlotte[/name] (has the same southern flair as [name]Scarlett[/name]–you could call her [name]Lottie[/name] or [name]Lotta[/name]. Get it? [name]Lotta[/name] and [name]Cash[/name]? I crack myself up.)
[name]Estella[/name]
[name]Willa[/name]
[name]Nina[/name]
[name]Sabina[/name]
I love [name]Lina[/name] (spelled this way) and think it would be pretty hard to hate that name, but I would also suggest [name]Violetta[/name], because [name]Violet[/name] kind of lacks a good nickname, but [name]Violetta[/name] can go by [name]Letty[/name].
From your list, I like [name]Violet[/name] and [name]Emma[/name] but they still lack a certain flair compared to [name]Cassius[/name] (love love love). Here are some suggestions.

[name]Saoirse[/name]- pronounced Sheer-sha I believe. It the only strangely spelled Gaelic name I find pretty usable.
First of all, I’m totally with you on [name]Scarlett[/name]. I have a love/hate affair with Ms. O’[name]Hara[/name]. [name]Love[/name] that she’s so strong and knows what she wants. Hate that the only way she can see to get it is to be mean. Hate that she’s stupid enough to drive [name]Rhett[/name], the man that knows her better than herself, away. I just can’t shake the image.
[name]Emma[/name]–yep, it’s a gorgeous, classic name, I love it, and I’ll be ready to hear it again in a generation or two.
[name]Violet[/name]–one of my all-time favorites…was on my girl’s short list 15 years ago. But it has had a meteoric rise. Is it the next [name]Isabella[/name]?
[name]Hazel[/name]–I don’t care for it as much as [name]Violet[/name], but it does have an appealing quirkiness grounded by the botanical roots (Ha!). But just like [name]Violet[/name] it’s on the rise.
[name]London[/name]–[name]London[/name] is my favorite city in the world. But I don’t like the idea of naming a child after such an iconic place–the person will always be second to the city. [name]London[/name] [name]Rain[/name], just my opinion, but no. I don’t like two names forming an image of a thing. If your last name is [name]Rhodes[/name], you should not name your son [name]Dusty[/name]. There’s a commentator or reporter on TV now—last name Ball. I know that this is shallow of me, but I can’t get over the fact that her parents named her [name]Krystal[/name].
[name]Leena[/name]–not a favorite and doesn’t really work with [name]Cassius[/name] in my opinion
[name]Jolene[/name]–[name]Dolly[/name] [name]Parton[/name] is brilliant. So brilliant that [name]Jolene[/name] will always be a man-stealing hussy with flaming locks of auburn hair. If you can get past it, and you think most people have…ok. But I prefer [name]Joanne[/name]/[name]Johanna[/name].
I like the idea of finding a Latin or mythological name to pair with [name]Cassius[/name], but not one that’s too out-there, because then I think you’d get into matchy-matchy land.
[name]How[/name] about
[name]Livia[/name]–Latin. Less popular than [name]Olivia[/name]. [name]Cash[/name] and [name]Livvy[/name]?
[name]Leda[/name]–Mother of [name]Helen[/name] of [name]Troy[/name]. I think this is beautiful and graceful, swanlike. Of course, she was raped by a swan, but maybe we can get over that?
[name]Milena[/name]–Czech. Nn [name]Lena[/name] or [name]Mila[/name]
[name]Lyra[/name]–mythological/Greek roots. Steampunky.
[name]Daphne[/name]–myth/tree connections
[name]Diana[/name]–[name]Roman[/name] myth
[name]Silvia[/name]–Latin/tree connections. Does this sould too old ladyish? I think it’s gorgeous and graceful…
[name]Valerie[/name]–French version of the Latin [name]Valeria[/name]. [name]Valeria[/name] sounds like a disease, but I’ve always loved [name]Valerie[/name]–strong yet girly in a spunky way. [name]Cash[/name] and [name]Val[/name]?
[name]Phillipa[/name]–works with [name]Cassius[/name]. [name]Cash[/name] and [name]Pippa[/name]? Too Middleton?
[name]Emilia[/name]–Latin. [name]Emma[/name]/[name]Em[/name]/[name]Emmy[/name] possible nn’s. Probably would be confused with [name]Amelia[/name] often.
[name]Felicia[/name]/[name]Felicity[/name]–I like these
[name]Gloria[/name]–I think it’s time for this one to come back. [name]Cash[/name] and [name]Glory[/name]?
An obvious choice would be any of the [name]Julia[/name] names…But then you’d have [name]Cash[/name] and [name]Jules[/name]/[name]Jewels[/name].
i like emma and scarlett
To second missmolly and answer the original question, I vote for [name]Livia[/name] [name]Scarlett[/name] (nn. [name]Liv[/name]/[name]Livy[/name]). Echos the original name that you loved in [name]Scarlett[/name] [name]Olivia[/name] (which, I agree, was a little too evocative of the actual name [name]Scarlett[/name] O’[name]Hara[/name]) and goes nicely with Bother [name]Cassius[/name]/[name]Cash[/name].
It’s ‘seer-sha’ or ‘sair-sha’ depending on dialect.
[name]How[/name] about [name]Gemma[/name]? Much less popular than [name]Emma[/name] and I love the ‘[name]Cash[/name]’ and ‘[name]Gem[/name]’ combo.
I think if you want a name that your daughter won’t hate I’d go towards [name]Hazel[/name], [name]Violet[/name] or [name]Scarlett[/name]. I think they a fresh and modern sounding and will stand the test of time and they all sound great with [name]Olivia[/name].
[name]Leena[/name] seems very childish, while [name]London[/name] is masculine and if you do travel to [name]London[/name] or the UK for that matter people will be very confused. [name]Jolene[/name] just sounds so country and I can only hear it in an accent.
A girl wouldn’t mind [name]Emma[/name] or [name]Olivia[/name] and I guess they are the really safe options!
I like [name]Emma[/name], [name]Jolene[/name], or [name]London[/name]. However, yes she’d be looked at oddly for being named [name]London[/name] in [name]London[/name]. So would you.
[name]Emma[/name] [name]Jolene[/name] is a beautiful combo imo, or [name]Emma[/name] [name]London[/name].
Perhaps give her a longer [name]Emma[/name] form, [name]Emmeline[/name] is one idea. [name]Emilia[/name] perhaps, or [name]Gemma[/name]. [name]Jolene[/name] [name]Olivia[/name] is beautiful too.
[name]Hazel[/name] is nice but close to [name]Eleanor[/name] in terms of “grandma”, same with [name]Leena[/name]. [name]Violet[/name] is too close to Violent for my liking.
[name]Scarlet[/name] I don’t like because I don’t like [name]Scarlett[/name] O’[name]Hara[/name], or the “scar” beginning.
