For a boy, I’m looking for something like [name]August[/name] and [name]Dashiell[/name]. [name]August[/name] is sometimes called [name]Gus[/name], rarely b/c I prefer [name]August[/name] and [name]Dashiell[/name] usually just goes by [name]Dash[/name] so I want a boy’s name that has a cute short form that is not [name]Will[/name] or [name]Jake[/name], anything too common.
A member of this site, [name]Lyndsay[/name], was deciding between [name]August[/name] and [name]Dashiell[/name] (love both)for her son, so I had to smile when I saw your sons’ names. That’s pretty weird!

I love the name [name]Genevieve[/name], with the nn [name]Eve[/name] or [name]Evie[/name]. So cute. I also like the nn [name]Viv[/name]. [name]Do[/name] you think [name]Viv[/name] could be used as a nn for [name]Genevieve[/name]?

I love the name [name]Genevieve[/name], too, and adore the [name]Eve[/name]/[name]Evie[/name] nickname potential. I definitely think [name]Viv[/name] could work as a Genenevieve nickname! I’ve heard [name]Vivi[/name] before, so why not simply the elegant [name]Viv[/name]?
Okay, we’ve agreed on [name]Genevieve[/name] as her first name - still debating between nicknames [name]Evie[/name] and [name]Vivi[/name]. Any middle name suggestions for [name]Genevieve[/name]?

I think [name]Emerson[/name] is a great name, too, but like you, I think it’s gone to the girls (or at least is used on many). If this bothers you, you may want to go with one of your other names.
[name]Bennett[/name]: nn would be [name]Ben[/name]. Very handsome if [name]Ben[/name] is not too mainstream for you!
[name]Silas[/name]: for me doesn’t fit as well with [name]Gus[/name] and [name]Dash[/name].

finnian is so grest with [name]Dashiell[/name] and [name]August[/name] and [name]Finn[/name] goes is perfect with [name]Dash[/name] and [name]Gus[/name]! I do love [name]Silas[/name]!
