I am expecting boy #3 in [name]June[/name] and we cannot decide on a name for him.
He has two brothers- [name]Jett[/name] [name]Cameron[/name] and [name]Dash[/name] [name]Ellis[/name]. We have a 10 letter, very difficult to spell and pronounce last name, so I prefer an easy first name. We like unusual names that are not too weird. Here are a few we have considered but don’t seem to be “the name” for our little guy:
[name]Gage[/name]
[name]Scout[/name]
[name]Maddox[/name]
[name]Grey[/name]
[name]Beau[/name]
Some ideas that came to my mind:
[name]Crew[/name]
[name]Cruz[/name]
[name]Archer[/name]
[name]Ace[/name]
[name]Chase[/name]
[name]Penn[/name]
[name]Kit[/name]
[name]Knox[/name]
[name]Clyde[/name]
[name]Scout[/name] is primarily given to girls, [name]Maddox[/name] is very Brangelina, and [name]Grey[/name] is an uninspiring color that really falls flat next to the panache of [name]Jett[/name] and [name]Dash[/name]. Between [name]Gage[/name] and [name]Beau[/name], my vote is for the literally handsome [name]Beau[/name], hands down.
I really like [name]Ace[/name] of the suggestions that others have given. [name]Jett[/name] and [name]Dash[/name] (great names!) both have such a fast/speedy energy - [name]Beau[/name] is a great name, but seems kind of slow in comparison. [name]Chase[/name] is good, but might be a little too obvious. I like [name]Ace[/name] because it connects to [name]Jett[/name] and has that energy, but without being too literal.
Thank you all for your suggestions.
What do you think of [name]Rayce[/name]? Too different? I spelled it odd because my grandfathers middle name was [name]Ray[/name] and this would include his name.
[name]Jett[/name], [name]Dash[/name], and [name]Rayce[/name]?
No way, because it brings up race, as in races of people, not just foot races. [name]Ray[/name] itself would be cool-- you get the natural imagery of rays of light, too.
I don’t care for [name]Rayce[/name] and also think it’s too matchy matchy with [name]Jett[/name] and [name]Dash[/name].
I think these names would go well with the sibset:
[name]Penn[/name]
[name]Vann[/name]
[name]Beck[/name]
[name]Bram[/name]
[name]Knox[/name]
[name]Dex[/name]
[name]Rhys[/name]
[name]True[/name]
